Yes, we know that, but no one could prove whether they should have been scanned in or not. Now we know that they have not been picked up for sure, so we can all stop checking.

I actually posted earlier not one page ago, that UKMail or TNT would be doing the deliveries and that Syncreon was the middle man
 
Yes, it wouldn't hurt to try, I could be not as bad as it was for me as it will be for you :), good luck nonetheless ! and let us know how it went.

But I would strongly suggest going on Friday, the day of the launch and try your luck? assuming if they had extras, they'll be gone so quickly with current demands.

Haha I may try and go tomorrow mate, but do have a mate who manages a T-Mobile store, so may try and have a sneaky word ;)
 
Dear oh dear Orange. After mightily cocking up my order they made absolutely no attempt to keep me while I was saying I want to leave. After speaking with the woman she said (in not so many words) that the iPhone 5 order system has been a massive cock up. Customers orders not getting entered correctly, customers being charged 2 - 3 times for their order. Apparently when she left last night there were 700 customers to contact today!
 
Both my orders have changed from Syncreon to UPS in the last half hour - just need to know which number to track by when they become live :cool:
 
I spoke to Three last night about my order i placed over the phone (nothing major, the guy taking my order forgot to take an email address)

The guy said he cant add an address to my order but it wont cause any problems,

He then said....... And I Quote "If you give me a contact number then i will make a note on your account that we'll call you if there are any problems with our deliveries, At this point (6pm last night) we foresee no issues whatsoever, all stock levels are as we expected and we fully expect everyone to receive their handset on the date they were quoted"

He also said that had i given them an email address it would only be so "they could sent an email Thursday night, confirming next day delivery"

All in all, Dont stress, Im sure itll all be grand :D

I preordered a 4S from Three last year and it arrived a day late. They then sent me a letter to apologise and a free Griffin bumper. I pre-ordered the 5 on Sunday and received a confirmation email the same day but since then there has been silence from them. I'm not worried about it because this is exactly how it was last year, in fact, they sent me the dispatch notification on the launch day and it came the day after with the 4S. Either way, I don't mind waiting 1 or 2 days after launch, its not exactly going to kill me.

Edit: I just checked the time of the dispatch email from last year and it came at 19:08 the day before delivery.

I had trouble with a previous jailbreak and used my sister's sony laptop and I managed to fix it (I have a MBA with SL at the time).
So your on a tethered JB and you can't restore it or jailbreak it to a untethered?
What keeps happening?
 
Back on the T-mobile Nano-sim note, my husband phoned T-Mobie and argued with them til he got £10 credited to his account so he could then buy a £10 nano-sim to change to on Friday. WTF.

It still doesnt change the fact that £10 for a nano-sim when you are already a pre-existing customer is awful!

good for him but I don't think I have the energy for that 'conversation'.

£10.21 to be exact. But that's the least of my worries. I'm just hoping that they're not going to repeat the same old sim to Micro-sim fiasco after iPhone 4 launch two years ago. So long as they have it in store tomorrow, I'll be a happy bunny.

In other news today, the bloody Syncreon website just let me in. Most likely a freak accident.

Has anyone else upgraded through Orange and got any more information?

Mine has been on UPS since it changed to 'shipped' last night, on apple's order tracking page via the Apple Store app...
 
Orange Upgrade

I upgraded through Orange at about 9:00 last Friday. I have had no information from them, no confirmation email or text. My contact is now extended through to 2014. All that Orange can say is that the phone will be delivered within 30 days.

Has anyone else upgraded through Orange and got any more information?

I'm in the same boat as you, although I did get an order number n email and text last friday, but it doesnt work on any site including Orange's
 
Had a dream it was dispatched from Orange. God I'm sad.

Ashamed to admit, but I had a dream that mine was delivered somewhere else and they opened it and replaced the iPhone with an old Motorola phone and re-sealed it.....spent the rest of the dream trying to find it.... however, I woke up to my Apple dispatch notification so that fixed it all :D

Ahh when mine changed to "Shipped" last night it listed Syncreon. Maybe that's it, they are using different companies to deliver.
