Hello, can i just ask, when you say they changed from Syncreon to UPS, where did you see the change? Was it on apple's order tracking page or Syncreon's once youve entered those order numbers?

On clicking apples track shipment button from my orders. One of them has now went back to Syncreon

There is usually on or two been delivered by now on previous ipad/iphone launches. Apple must have realy got everyone by the balls this time.

Those of you who just have "Syncreon" in their tracking info from Apple, just try this:

• Go to the UPS Website.
• On the top, click Tracking, then select Track Shipments.
• Select Track by Reference
• Select Mail innovations
• Put in your tracking number and the post code

It should then recognise the package but no tracking info at the moment, which then means your Syncreon "delivery" is actually UPS.

Yep. Ordered mine Saturday morning in store and was told I'd get a call today to tell me it's there waiting to be picked up.
Just waiting for that call.

I've just read that o2 are the only ones supplying Nano-Sims for free?

Are all other networks charging for them?

• On the top, click Tracking, then select Track Shipments.
• Select Track by Reference
• Select Mail innovations
• Put in your tracking number and the post code

It should then recognise the package but no tracking info at the moment, which then means your Syncreon "delivery" is actually UPS.

I'm in the same boat as you, although I did get an order number n email and text last friday, but it doesnt work on any site including Orange's

I didn't even get that! Not very impressed with Orange over this, how hard is it to send out an email or text?

Everytime I try to speak to someone at Orange I get passed between people and then told 'it could take upto 30 days'.

New customers are getting far better info from Orange, typical mobile phone companies I guess!

I ordered from the Apple Store app, had the confirmation email at 9:17am. All the way through this week it says it was expected on the 21st of September! Lucky or what?!

Lucky indeed! I ordered at 9.02am, when I remembered about the iPhone 5 preorder.

Ashamed to admit, but I had a dream that mine was delivered somewhere else and they opened it and replaced the iPhone with an old Motorola phone and re-sealed it.....spent the rest of the dream trying to find it.... however, I woke up to my Apple dispatch notification so that fixed it all

• Got order confirmation at 8:10am
• Got "Your order's winging its way to you right this minute..." at 1:45pm on Friday
• Got "Thanks for ordering your shiny new phone... we'll be in touch"text on Sat 15th at 11:30am

It's unfortunate because I'm unable to pick it up Friday evening. Reckon they will let me bump it to Saturday? I really hope so, without someone taking my iPhone and me waiting longer

Not sure about this. If I change the number or the postcode to something random (like the postcode of the nearest hospital) it displays the exact same thing. Same if I alter a couple of digits of the tracking number!

I upgraded through Orange at about 9:00 last Friday. I have had no information from them, no confirmation email or text. My contact is now extended through to 2014. All that Orange can say is that the phone will be delivered within 30 days.

Has anyone else upgraded through Orange and got any more information?

I upgraded at 12:00 on Friday, due to their systems not being setup to take pre-orders at 8am! My new plan and contract have taken effect and I received a text as soon as I got off the phone confirming my order and a text the following day saying my shiny new phone will be with me shortly and they'll keep me updated. Suffice to say, they haven't kept that promise!

You will probably get one tonight that tells you the day of delivery and gives you the option to change it. Then one in the morning tomorrow that gives you the 1hr time slot, you can't change this slot only the day.

No it will be direct from UPS, they don't hand it to Royal Mail.

That's interesting. Wonder why I have not received this information... The phone support keep saying it is because I placed the upgrade online. It is all the same company!

Works for me

To all worrying about Syncreon, it's a logistics company, not a delivery service, the couriers will be collecting items from Syncreon.

Pretty much, but in place of "processing facility" think Syncreon, and in place of USPS think UPS/DPD/etc.

I thought that was the case too using that method, but if you put in any old made up reference and made up postcode it comes up with 1 package found... so it's not really finding anything unfortunately.
