not sure if it's been posted yet but t mobile stores are getting nano sims today. I work for t mobile and our store has just been delivered iphone 5 & nano sims.

Text and email off Three with tracking number.

Ordered mine (64GB black) about 12pm Saturday and being delivered tomorrow
 
I am honestly fuming right now. I just spoke to Tmobile, I've been a customer for over 9-10 years. They are single handedly the most annoying company in the world. Always making stupid errors and really (honestly) do not care about their customers.

After reading about their complete inability to keep customers updated on the biggest phone in history. I called, good thing too. I ordered a black 32gb iphone 5 a couple of minutes past 8 last Friday (as soon as pre-orders went for sale). I heard nothing barring a couple of texts. It appears that they have ordered a white 32gb iphone 5. I didn't order white and the lady confirmed my notes say I ordered a black 32gb iphone 5.

They have stated the order has been picked and so they can't do anything apart from cancel the order, and resend me a black 32gb iphone 5 (which I will have to wait for)

As a customer for many years this has been the single handed stupidest thing they have ever done. As a person who is relatively patient I would implore people to avoid tmobile, although they do offer good tariffs. Their customer service is epically lacking. Also call and enquire on your order if you have ordered, as there is a real possibility they have ballsed it up.

Any chance you can live with the white? I've heard the black is becoming notorious already for "Scuff marks" even new out of the box.

I know it's not about this, and I know it's not what you wanted, but this might actually make you feel better about the white?

I had all the problems you had, as i'm an Orange up grader too. In the end I just rang them up, asked to speak to a manager, threatened to cancel my order and existing contract and move to another network. Within 5 mins i received the text confirmation and got told to expect a delivery text soon (which i haven't received as of yet).

If you try this, and get an operator who's had a really bad day that decides to cancel your order as requested, please don't blame me:D

Yep will do. Hopefully good news but doubt it the way they have handled things so far.

I have just phoned and they said that my order is still processing, and that we should receive a text from the delivery service.

He said that mine hasn't yet been dispatched, he can't guarantee I will get it for Friday but he also said I may very well still be able to get it on Friday.

So know further forward really :/
 
Just called Apple - got my UPS tracking number - it looks like the labels haven't been created yet - waiting for the next few hours - as usual, it might not show up until tomorrow :), but orders are still scheduled to deliver tomorrow.

TLDR: no new information.
 
Managed to track mine on UPS using the previously mentioned method, no info available yet tho but at least we know it is in progress. Looking forward to tomorrow!

Ok...

Those of you who just have "Syncreon" in their tracking info from Apple, just try this:

  • Go to the UPS Website.
  • On the top, click Tracking, then select Track Shipments.
  • Select Track by Reference
  • Select Mail innovations
  • Put in your tracking number and the post code

It should then recognise the package but no tracking info at the moment, which then means your Syncreon "delivery" is actually UPS. :)

Yep that worked for me, UPS it is then.

I love it when a plan comes together.

And if you read the previous posts in this thread you will know that if you put any number in to that page it will come up with a package. You haven't tracked anything.

I tried in the Cheapside store and they said they haven't got any and to come back tomorrow, when it will be its busiest day all year, such a pain. Where is your store?
 
rang orange to check on handset and they said they haven't got stock till tomorrow and will be allocating phones for delivery tomorrow and expect handset within next 7 working days..... launch day handset slipped out my hands :(

And before he asked for my order reference etc.. the first thing he asked was do I have the text from the delivery service. Which brings me to the question, if he is asking this do users already have a text/email from the delivery service?

Has anyone heard from the delivery service for T-MOBILE orders?
 
Not sure about this. If I change the number or the postcode to something random (like the postcode of the nearest hospital) it displays the exact same thing. Same if I alter a couple of digits of the tracking number!

Hmmm, yep this is true. Back to syncreon then.

Thanks for the support. But I have a white 4S and it is really getting on my nerves. I definitely want a black 5. May consider selling it and ordering from Apple or something. I don't know what to do right now. Honestly took to twitter and gave them at least 3 tweet rant directly at Tmobile, they are determined for their customers to hate them.

Mine has always shown UPS (as far as I've noticed). Every product I've ever order from Apple has come via UPS. I used to place an enormous amount of orders through their HEI store and they were always delivered by UPS as well...
