They only made sim only available an hour before this though.

Was a little concerned as I cancelled my Apple order (shipping 2-8 oct)

Mine is showing despatched on the CPW website. How are you tracking via Yodel (on the CPW website). It says the tracking number starts with a JD but the order reference number I have is 9 digits - all numbers?

I'm hoping this is a different story for Orange contracts taken out with the Carphone Warehouse. I spoke to them Tuesday and this morning and they said they have no tracking information to provide customers, however I'm definitely down to receive my phone tomorrow.

I just got the text and email and mine is for a 32GB Black. My order wasn't processed till about 4pm on Saturday as they needed some more info for the credit check.
 
Will UKMAIL allow a neighbour to sign for my delivery on my behalf if i leave a note on my door signed and dated? I wont be in until 5pm 2moro and im pooping myself im not gonna get it!

Samesies! - I ordered about 2pm on the Friday. 16GB White. The woman I spoke to said it would be a Friday delivery. Still holding out! Phone in one hand, laptop in the other. A little text or email would be lovely right about now.
 
No information from T-Mobile regarding my preorder :( I was hoping it'd ship today, as I preordered over the phone at 8am...

If you can wait a day, they'll attempt a second delivery on Saturday.
 
Just called this number 0845 600 1683

The nice automated lady told me my iPhone 5 has been shipped via Royal Mail and then emailed me my tracking number.

When I ordered mine they told me that they would hold it for as long as necessary. Even if that's a couple of weeks. However the paperwork says that if its not collected the day of launch then it'll get reallocated to someone else.
Bit contradictory so suppose its anyone's guess.

Exact thing happend to me - online upgrade, similar time, nothing heard since. Being an anxious soul i have called them lots since (see previous posts). No one has a clue. Many have said that it seems no phone was ordered but send me on a wild goose chase to speak to other departments, all of whom send me on somewhere else. Some guy promised to call me back two days ago but sent a text yesterday saying he has no news yet. Finally I did speak to someone last night who said a phone was ordered for me at 1.40pm yesterday but couldn't tell me when it would arrive. If you have any news on your situation it would be good to hear it. What I have garnered is that there was an error at orange matching orders to accounts on friday morning which they have been having to go through by hand, hence my phone perhaps being sorted yesterday. They did take the money out of my account promptly though! Really sick of it and them...

Use the 9 digit number to track it here:

Phone 01577652091 press 3 and ask them for the status of your order, you will need web reference so get that handy as I had to switch apps to get to mail to grab it during the call.

Let me know how you get on, it's a free number so you can phone on your mobile without getting charged like you would for an 0800 :)

To be fair I ordered on Monday morning, the 32GB black model which seems the most supply constrained too, so I don't expect to it to be delivered tomorrow. I was just hopeful as someone else here who ordered after I did have their delivery date set to Friday.

This is hilarious - I love the typing sound it plays out whilst sending you the confirmation number - must really confuse people as to whether the voice is real or not :D
