I ordered mine at 8:02 in the morning and still 'Preparing Shipment' It will come don't worry.
It's all down to when your phone was scanned in at the depo.

I finish work at 4.30, pick the wife up at 5 and can collect from UPS from 6. Sure the wife won't mind looking around some shops for an hour until I can go to UPS!
Strange that, yours is labelled clear? i just noticed mine is labelled 'sheer matte'
Its slightly opaque, kinda a frosted glass effect. Im ok with this, I'm only using it as a stop gap
It says Clear on the website, but as you can see it's far from that.

ok after a conversation with orange APPARENTLY everyone who has received a uk mail tracking number is wrong and they have all be sent out in error!!!!
they have said that they get delivery of the phones from apple tomorrow and will start to dispatch them this is because apple havent released the phones to them. It seems they are passing all there errors apples way and are not taking any responsibility at all for this.
I am no way calling anyone who has received a message a liar i am only passing on what i have been told.

Well according to this thread 3 is picking up a lot of customers...
Ill be jumping ship from o2 to 3, but need to cancel my o2 contract, so there's no point in jumping in to get the 3 phone during my cancellation period... So ill cancel o2, get me puk code, and order the 3 phone in about 3 weeks time, when all the new OMG!!111!!! iPhone 5 ordering has quietened down.
Ill miss visual voicemail though.
Also Im thinking o2 might do something in the next week or so to retain the flurry of customers that are jumping ship.

UPS don't do estimated delivery times, just 'between 9am and 7pm, sometimes later to residents'
I'm hoping for 'sometimes later' so I can get home to receive it! For once I would be happy to be the last person on the drivers route!

Okay so my Black 32 just went from Preparing for Shipment to Shipped from apple.com.
I have a tracking number, which is a 1ZXXXXXXXXXXXXXX number that looks like it's for UPS, but I am getting:
"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."

Ok well here is my experience.. I have been an orange customer for over 5 years now.. I upgraded at 10am on Friday 14th.. spoke to orange plenty of times, the last one being about half an hour ago. They advised my pre-order was closed off at 1pm on the friday. No idea what took them 3 hours.. anyway still waiting for a courier text message nothing as of yet. They all seem to be saying different things.. i specifically asked as well if they will be dispatched today for delivery tomorrow to some customers or will they be starting the dispatch from tomorrow.. they advised some customers should get their phones delivered tomorrow.. They also advised it was on a first come first serve basis.. which I find hard to believe to be honest as 2 hours after pre order went live i had my order in there.

I'd pre-ordered at black 32gb last Friday and was told I was the 4th pre-order for Orange......so ummed and ahhd about it but decided to say yes in the end.
Anyone else made the offer ?
Guess I'll get more than £30 extra when I come to sell a 64GB over a 32GB in a couple years time ?

Hi, got my pre order coming tomorrow from apple ,but cousin wants one now, will T mobile/orange stores have their own allocation tomorrow in store, for contracts?
They do, but they have all been taken up by people reserving them in store so don't think you'll have much luck I'm afraid from what I've heard.
