I'm guessing its all by appointment so they can activate the phones instore and give everyone a 10-15 minute window, making there life easier

That's just BS on the store monkey's part.
There's plenty of people around that have received Nano SIMs from, I know one myself.
Any1 got an update on their three preorder? I called them yesterday for an update and they said they were still waiting for the stock from apple. I'm not sure if they have my email address or mobile number as I'm a new customer so I may be waiting for a confirmation that will never come

Yes, Mine is being delivered to Kent and UPS tracking now saying Origin Scan at Tamworth!!!!
That's what's so frustrating, I've seen others walk in and get one and the guy on live chat told me I could do that too!

have you been given any instructions by the HeadOffice regarding who you can provide nano sims too? i.e. existing customers - buying a sim-free iphone 5? or just new contracts and upgrades?

Well you mentioned they took the money out for the phone a while back so i doubt i am ahead of you. Anyway the email was pretty generic actually
Then further down just says about being a new customer and signing up to the website (which i did but the account is locked which is interesting as i thought i'd be able to track it on there)

My Three order has dispatched for delivery tomorrow. So fingers crossed all will be good on the day.
Not going to be able to do much on it though until Monday when my number ports from Vodafone

Not to everyone. I still haven't got one despite ordering on the Friday. I was guaranteed a 21st delivery date. - Here's hoping! 3 tweeted me and said they could be sent out any time tonight.

We have hundreds of replacement sims for existing customers. They come in a white envelope with Nano written on them. Also have sims for new customers that come in normal retail packaging.
When I replaced my sim it went through in about 5 minutes. Seen a lot of other networks take a few hours.
Our store only had a very small amount of sim adapters delivered though.
I'm in Birmingham and my tracking information is now showing as well.

So are you providing sims for new Sim Free Contracts?
As I rang T-Mobile and was told that you were only providing sims to customers buying the phone.
When I asked why I was told "It was Apples decision to change the Sim and it is our decision to not provide sims to anyone not buying the phone from us".
I then just ordered a Nano sim from Three insead..
I'm getting " UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later." when I put my tracking number in...
Tracking number from UPS obtained, tracking two separate items? Surely apple aren't shipping AppleCare+ documents physically ?
