Just been phoned by Orange - 5000 customers to be offered 64gb white iPhone5, guaranteed Sat delivery for £30.

I'd pre-ordered at black 32gb last Friday and was told I was the 4th pre-order for Orange......so ummed and ahhd about it but decided to say yes in the end.

Anyone else made the offer ?

Guess I'll get more than £30 extra when I come to sell a 64GB over a 32GB in a couple years time ?

say what? why haven't I got this call? lol I'd snatch a 64gb for £30 and refuse delivery of my pre-order lol

Okay so my Black 32 just went from Preparing for Shipment to Shipped from apple.com.

I have a tracking number, which is a 1ZXXXXXXXXXXXXXX number that looks like it's for UPS, but I am getting:

"UPS could not locate the shipment details for your request. Please verify your information and try again later."

if its only changed then give UPS time to update.......try later after 7pm

Well according to this thread 3 is picking up a lot of customers...

Ill be jumping ship from o2 to 3, but need to cancel my o2 contract, so there's no point in jumping in to get the 3 phone during my cancellation period... So ill cancel o2, get me puk code, and order the 3 phone in about 3 weeks time, when all the new OMG!!111!!! iPhone 5 ordering has quietened down.

Ill miss visual voicemail though.

Syncreon sucks.

It's really complicated to see your tracking data, and it doesn't work with any apps I have like UPS and UKmail do!

Mustn't grumble, I'm probably getting it tomorrow, but I wish I got UPS. They've got their stuff together.

Syncreon + UKMail are the same company essentially.

Try your tracking number at http://www.ukmail.com as Syncreon is slow!

So the Carphone Warehouse e-mail confirming dispatch of my iPhone 5 contains a small caveat in addition to the non-active tracking number

*Please note all iPhone 5 orders will be dispatched for delivery from 21st September onwards

Does this mean that Friday delivery is definitely not going to happen?

I work for City Link who will be delivering the CPW orders. Your tracking number wont show on the website until your phone has been scanned at the collection depot.

Mine actually arrived 'next day' from them, was surprised to say the least, seems a nice case huh?

Yep is pretty good....have to say impressed with the speed with next day delivery etc. Ordered 2 more that aren't in stock yet too!

Cant say where because we're not meant to post on sites about it. Our store has hundreds of replacement sims & cases come in today too.

Most London based stores should have them if we got them

What way will this work? I got booked in when I pre-ordered last week but didn't get any details apart from the time. Do I just turn up at my time - in and out or will I need to queue with all the others who haven't pre-ordered or have later pick up times?

Im tempted to order one now, and cancel o2..... but i want to pick it up from a shop.....

Im at a festival this weekend anyway, so Ill hold off ordering until I get back, by which point it will also be payday

Actually managed to get into town today thanks to my Mum. (A lot for me as I'm disabled). Pretty wasted journey (apart from a nice skirt from Primark) as Vodafone wouldn't give me a Nano Sim. Said they were tied by Apple. I explained I just wanted the sim, not the phone but that didn't make any difference. Really quite annoyed. Going to have to get family to get me one. Aces! *note the sarcasm* lol

That sucks, Voda (and others) must have some sort of contractual obligation not to release the SIMs until the release date. Shame really as my 3 Nano SIM was delivered 3 days ago.
