We have hundreds of replacement sims for existing customers. They come in a white envelope with Nano written on them. Also have sims for new customers that come in normal retail packaging.

When I replaced my sim it went through in about 5 minutes. Seen a lot of other networks take a few hours.

Our store only had a very small amount of sim adapters delivered though.

Thanks for your post! It's very helpful and given us T Mob customers some hope to get a replacement sim tomorrow! Are all your stores opening at 8am?

Tracking number from UPS obtained, tracking two separate items? Surely apple aren't shipping AppleCare+ documents physically ?

When I got my MBA the itunes gift card shipped as a separate item.

Just been phoned by Orange - 5000 customers to be offered 64gb white iPhone5, guaranteed Sat delivery for £30.

I'd pre-ordered at black 32gb last Friday and was told I was the 4th pre-order for Orange......so ummed and ahhd about it but decided to say yes in the end.

Anyone else made the offer ?

Guess I'll get more than £30 extra when I come to sell a 64GB over a 32GB in a couple years time ?

Bet the 16GB orders don't get the same offer as it is only a £20 discount.

I've got the same thing, a few have apparently but it looks like the AppleCare is a separate ref but the same order. Neither of my tracking numbers work on the UPS site but i believe they change later from what other people have said.

That's just BS on the store monkey's part.

There's plenty of people around that have received Nano SIMs from, I know one myself.

This is true. My vodafone nano sim is currently in my iPhone 4 and working quite happily. I ordered it through the 'contact us' form on the vodafone website at the weekend and it arrived on Tuesday.

Urgh, accidentally ordered 2 on Friday, one from Apple then O2 (went to try cancel the Apple one and they said I couldn't), but O2 aren't posting til tomorrow! So I'm just going to have one sitting here that I can't open.

What do you mean 02 arnt posting till tommorow? Does that mean anyone who pre orderd from 02 will not recive Iphones till sat or monday?

News for Phones4u customers:

I got a Royal Mail Special Delivery tracking number by phoning and asking for it. Called Royal Mail and they said its been taken in and is scheduled for delivery before 1pm tomorrow!

So phones4u are sending their own stock out with Royal Mail... and if you have a tracking number it will be coming tomorrow.

So are you providing sims for new Sim Free Contracts?

As I rang T-Mobile and was told that you were only providing sims to customers buying the phone.

When I asked why I was told "It was Apples decision to change the Sim and it is our decision to not provide sims to anyone not buying the phone from us".

I then just ordered a Nano sim from Three insead..

Yeah we can sell them sim only. We dont have many of the sims for new customers (retail packaged ones) but it wouldnt stop us from scanning a normal or micro sim through and then replacing it with a replacement nano sim.

Have just had a call from the Three store I pre-ordered with on Saturday.
They just wanted to confirm that I am still coming in to pick up my phone and have said it's there waiting now.

He told me they'd had about 50 delivered and that they wouldn't have any problems fulfilling all the orders they took in the first weekend.

Am very happy now. Have been waiting all day for this call and was dreading them telling me that they haven't got enough for all the customers.

Been lurking around reading the thread since about page 50 and finally decided to join and put my two pennies in!

Pre-ordered on 3 over the phone on Friday before 9am but hadn't heard anything- gf ordered just after me and received an email earlier today so started getting a bit nervous... Called Three and they checked my order on the system and confirmed they had my email address wrong, provided me with a tracking number so am now one happy bunny!

Showing on the DPD site as 'Awaiting Receipt of Parcel'. Very relieved and can't wait to get my hands on it- moved from a 3gs to a HTC Sensation last year and it's been one hell of a long year! Glad to be coming back!

Was it the 16, 32 or 64 you ordered? Reason i'm asking is the T-Mobile guy on the phone told me that he didn't think they were gonna make all the deliveries of the 16 from their first batch of stock and sunday afternoon is a long time after pre orders started. I would probably phone them, might push it along or at least give you an answer.

It was the 32!
