UK iPhone 5 thread

Just picked up my nano sim from t-mobile for £10. No adapters in store so I tried to blag one off 3 but no can do. Micro sim now disconnected.

The biggest irony would be for UPS trying to call me tomorrow saying they can't find my street and no way for them to get through to me

Is that a PAYG nano SIM?

no. I got a free nano-SIM and adapter from Three last weekend.

Royal Mail is located in Burgess Hill AND there is one in Greenford. My guess is UK Mail have the shipments from Syncreon and Royal Mail are delivering them.

Who knows lol, but from what it says mine is in Burgess Hill and the other poster says his is in Greenford.

No it didn't move anywhere, a destination scan is a scan before it leaves towards its destination

Also my pure excitement that's been building all week for tomorrow is gone ....

Seriously, Northern Ireland is in zone 1 so I expected it tomorrow as it said on the apple website .... It's been on 21st Sep as delivery date all week up until this lunch time!

It's not even like I'm out in the country areas of N.I or the harder to reach areas, I'm right in Belfast .. urgh!

So much for getting my order in at 8.05am ... I should have just waited and queued up at the store ...

I mean, they know they have to deliver to Northern Ireland, they know the logistics of that and they stated the 21st, so why can't they plan properly and get it here when they said they would!..

I feel sorry for those that didn't make it early enough for the first batch, but gosh I was in at 8.05am and I'm in one of the capital cities in the UK ..

P.S - there was me getting excited at UPS delivering it too cos last time I had Yodel and it was awful lol oh the irony!

Conveniently i've got the mobile number for my local UK Mail driver who delivers to my work all the time so just text him, and he's just replied saying he's just got his delivery list for tomorrow and i'm on it He's going to get to me as early as he can!

Oh, they did the SIM swap for me in store so it was the first question they asked, as in "do you have a contract, whats the phone number?"

Try this number 0844 338 0330 then select option 2 and if u get through ask if you can get a tracking number for your iphone 5 preorder.

I just did it and they confirmed my details and gave it to me

I did the same thing.

No text message or email, but they were able to give me the tracking number on the phone - and there was only a 5 second wait for the call to be answered.
