I swear my iPhone is the only one left sitting alone in Tamworth D: I've had no updates since it's arrival scan at 1am. Am I right in thinking it'll probably start making it's way down during the night? I live in Plymouth (South West) with a delivery date of tomorrow

I'm another Northern Ireland resident peed off to find my delivery date changed to Monday 24th. I was in contact with UPS via twitter/email and got the following reply:

"Thank you for your email. I’m sorry for any confusion. Based on the service level selected by the shipper, the scheduled delivery date is 09-24-12. Please continue to track the package at ups.com for any further updates."

So Apple (the shipper) don't want me to have my phone on release day!!!

My 32 GB with UPS is still in Tamworth, and my 64GB with UKMail is still in bloody Cardiff, I live in Newcastle. Tomorrow is going to be a disaster I am sure..

Mines the same only had a origin scan at half 2

I do. But still showing in Tamworth at the moment.

it won't move, once it leave the UPS centre and gets on the mail flight from Derby to here, they lose any tracking info as the carriers here are not linked to their systems.

How far away is your nearest depot? Add the distance onto 6am there you go.

Three tracking number

An update for those without tracking numbers from 3....

I got an email earlier today saying I would have it tomorrow, however the email had no tracking number or hyperlink to DPD.

I called at 5pm and they couldn't give me a tracking number, so called back at 9.50 and they still wouldn't give me one.

After a bit of persistence the agent magically found my tracking number and it shows my phone in birmingham at 2pm today.

Hopefully this should help those still waiting

iirc from ipad3 pre orders they go out in transit around 5-7am morning of release, travel furthest away then work inwards back to the depot.

Mine says "in Delivery Warehouse Scan" too, but mines in bloody Cardiff and I live in Newcastle! Ridiculous that they have not even started moving it yet, Cardiff is over 5 hours away without stopping!

I live about an hours drive from cardiff in wales. so yeah not far. I think the cardiff depo is my nearest one . Im sure they will send yours up through the night thats what they mostly do anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong but you can't take out new contracts with phones at the Apple store in the UK can you? Isn't that US only?

Hello! I used to work in the Apple Store in Regent Street; I can assure you that you can open a new contract at Apple stores - I used to do 20+ in a day!

Some rather famous people have been declined trying to get contracts before...obviously I can't say who, but it was always a shock

Just go back on the phone with them and this guy came out and said that mine has been sent and that I would be able to track it from there tracking team and the number they give was for that department, on hold just now waiting to talk to them but I want hold my brath that my call will get answered at this time of night.

PLEASE give me the number to the tracking team...
