I'm another Northern Ireland resident peed off to find my delivery date changed to Monday 24th. I was in contact with UPS via twitter/email and got the following reply:

"Thank you for your email. I’m sorry for any confusion. Based on the service level selected by the shipper, the scheduled delivery date is 09-24-12. Please continue to track the package at ups.com for any further updates."

So Apple (the shipper) don't want me to have my phone on release day!!!

Interesting, I phoned apple and they say my delay has nothing to do with them

and I am at the mercy of the carrier!!! Saying that he also blamed customs

during the same phone call?? Spent a lot of money with apple over the years

and between this and the iPad launch I have been treated like a second class

Customer

Mine says "in Delivery Warehouse Scan" too, but mines in bloody Cardiff and I live in Newcastle! Ridiculous that they have not even started moving it yet, Cardiff is over 5 hours away without stopping!

In Delivering Warehouse Scan

Mine is actually at the delivery location, a quick google of the guy who scanned my iPhone in: 35 year old, has kids, lives not too far from me...

it won't move, once it leave the UPS centre and gets on the mail flight from Derby to here, they lose any tracking info as the carriers here are not linked to their systems.

Experienced as much from previous launches. But I don't recall missing one, so holding out hope...

Scheduled Delivery:
Friday, 21/09/2012, By End of Day

Has anyone got anything better than "By End of Day"?

Orange

Right. Off to bed. No news. No text.
Will ring Orange tomorrow. Hope all you guys getting your phones tomorrow enjoy them. Maybe getting it later will make setting up easier.:(:(:(:(:(

I'm the same, not happy! They treat us like second class citizens here. I bet it's coming from Cork too!

Ordered through cpw on Wednesday afternoon, over the phone. Just received my dispatched email, nothing live yet but hope it gets to Aberdeen by 5am and I should receive my phone

6:02am for me... I can hope

Turns out it might actually be 8am they start. Also if your close to the depot apparently you are not in luck since they apparently drive all the way to the end of the route and deliver on the way back, so you end up last.

uk Mail are shipping mine and some iPhones by premier 24 service which is next day delivery before 12mid day which will be good :D

Mine is Prem24 by UkMail :)

----------

Walsh Western is actually just Syncreon, it means it has not even left yet, they are based in Newport/Wales.

www.walshwestern.com - Notice it just redirects to Syncreon?

Yup

Syncreon is the middle man, UKMail pick up the packages from Syncreon and they go out for delivery

Oh wow Mine is prem24 too, but it is still in Cardiff, Did not realise that was before 12 midday.

We will see, going to take them at least 6 hours to even get to my local depot never mind deliver it..

Yours is probably not in Cardiff. If you are looking at the main UKMail webpage you are looking at the wrong one. Mine hasn't update on that webpage either.

You need to go here: put your Consignment Number from the main UKMail webpage, into the box and you should get an update.
