UK iPhone 5 thread

Sept 14 Pre Order about 11am now preparing for shipment just in case anyone is in same predicament. Calm Calm.
 
I can see lots of fanboys will be fuming, straight out of the box i have noticed 3 tiny places where the trim is coming off the side, Im not too fussed as it will be going in a case as soon as one is available but if there are more like that there will be mayhem
 
Been up since 6.30. It's only 10:45 and I'm going to put a Pizza in the oven... yes I'm an animal. This is what waiting around for 2x iPhone 5s does to me :D
 
Turned up at the Three store in Victoria Square in Belfast at exactly 8 just as they were opening the doors. There were only 2 girls waiting there for iPhones so I was in and out before 0815 - which includes having a play around with the demo model and also having our pictures taken by the staff (using an iPhone 5 I may add). My phone is still sealed as I headed straight to work. Will enjoy opening it at home. =]

Nope I don't think you can put it in upside down, I have tried it also in my iPhone 4 with the nano sim adaptor and it also doesn't work just says no service. I went here to see if I could activate it or something:

But it said my number was incorrect...
 
Both my phones have been received. Just taken final delivery of the wifes 32gb version delivered by UK MAIL. A few hours ago took delivery from royal mail for my Tmobile 64 order.

All the waiting is now over now time to play.
 
UK Mail van turned down one of the side streets near my work, and that should hopefully loop back round, and come down into my street near work :D
 
got mine fine in the end despite CPWH screwing my order, queued outside o2 store from 6am, was 2nd in queue, had my choice of phone. just had to get up early!
 
I am expecting my iPhone 5 today, as it was showing as being out for delivery this morning. Checked the tracking and it has just changed to
"The package was left in a UPS facility"

Does anybody know what this is? :eek:

Well my nano sim came from Royal Mail.

I could hear a van turning up in my driveway and I thought
it was UK Mail lol

All I need now is my phone! C'mon Uk Mail!!!!

Where are you? Did you get any texts or anything from royal mail before you got the 64GB?
