I upgraded to a 32GB white iPhone 5 on Wednesday with the confirmation email received on the same day. Just got an email telling me the phone is out of stock and they will send it when it become available.

However, the 32GB White version is showing in stock currently on Vodafone website, and have always been that way. Either they screwed up or Vodafone is lying about the number of phone is stock to get more customers.

I've been in my new contract since pre-order and will cancel it if the phone don't arrive by next Wednesday as I only got 7 days to exit my new contract.

Not that it counts for much, but you get £10 per week that your pre-order is delayed from today up to £80

guys when i get mine im doing a video of when i open it and inspect the phone so if any damage i can go to apple and prove it was damaged inside packaging therefore to prove its not my fault i suggest you guys do a video aswell many people are complaining it has scuffs ot marks.

I just spoke with a lovely girl from UPS to confirm delivery for today after hearing all the horror stories on here i started to panic a bit.

She confirmed that both my phones are out for delivery as we speak!! Hope this helps guys!! Fingers crossed!!

Glad to hear your news. I'm awaiting delivery too, but the tracking is showing as delivery Monday. Do you have the number of the UPS depot in Newtownabbey?

Just called UPS and have found my package was loaded onto the UPS van in the morning, but then taken off because the van was overloaded!
The soonest they could deliver again would be Monday.

I have called to arrange collection from the depot this evening

It would just be restoring Apps, Photos etc. so I didn't think it would be a problem but I thought I'd check.

The last iPhone I had was the original one before being lost in the BB wilderness...

Called orange (waited 30mins) and they have advised that my order can be processed any point after the 21st They said the earliest expected date will be the 25th sept...what's the point of pre-ordering?

You "pre ordered" more than a day after preorders started, what do you expect really? on Apples own store they went to 2-3 weeks delivery in just 90 minutes.

Out for delivery doesn't mean they are out on the road from that time. It just means it has been loaded into the van or ready to be taken by the van for delivery.

I think you're getting "On Vehicle for Delivery" and "Out for Delivery" confused. UPS will state on vehicle for delivery after the package has been loaded into the van, whilst out for delivery means the van has left the UPS Depo
