UK iPhone 5 thread

Mine has been delivered to home. Now just have to wait 6 hours to finish work.

Counting down the minutes! It's going to be a longgg day..
 
Whoo!

Arrived this morn just before 10am and all restored and working! Yey!

Oh and to all the "nay-sayers" when I said I bet anything it would come before 10am as we're just down the road from UPS depot I say Ha!

Just recieved a call from the driver asking if I was home. He'll be here in 20 minutes. :cool::cool:

They said they don't know yet, courier will call to arrange collection of damaged one and I have been advised by apple to make that as late next week as possible as the replacement will probably be late next week. They say I can continue to use this one for the moment.

Were very helpful and the guy sent me his direct apple contact email for any questions, didn't think about white will drop him an email and see if it is possible to swap.

PS I just got my delivery in Magherafelt.

The driver said he was doing out in the 'sticks' first before heading back to the city!!:D Hope this helps good luck!!

If the phone wasn't bought from the store they won't swap it at the tills. If you have an issue like scratch or dent that wasn't caused by you, then they'll swap it at the bar potentially but only for the same colour.

Just rang UK Mail and after a long hold got through to their CS who told me the driver had put a card through my door and asked me to confirm I had a brown front door. I have a blue front door. She's now going to get the depot to contact the driver and see if he can attempt to redeliver today, but I'm guessing the odds of that will be approximately zero. I'm away from 10:00 tomorrow so if I don't get it before then I'm stuffed.

Right now I'm WELL pi**ed off.

At least they're meant to be calling me back within an hour to confirm what's happening, but if they're not going to deliver today I'm tempted to make an hour drive to the Trafford Centre Apple Store - anyone know what the situation there is like?

Great, things just get better, I've just discovered that because my phone number is being ported from O2 to 3 today, my mobile number that UK mail are meant to be calling me back on is currently unavailable for 'up to a couple of hours'

That's classic UK Mail. Stick the customer service number into http://www.saynoto0870.com and find the direct number for your delivery branch and give them a call. Last time it happened to me the Manager brought the phone out to me and was very apologetic!

Hmm, ok, can you give me the number you called, as there are loads on Apples website and i have no idea which one to call?

have to say the white one is beee-u-tiful! i dont think I want to take the plastic of the front and back until my screen protector arrives! :D
