Been sat here all morning awaiting my delivery, just looked at the tracking information and the UK Mail site says 'receipient unavailable at 9:30!"

Just rang UK Mail and after a long hold got through to their CS who told me the driver had put a card through my door and asked me to confirm I had a brown front door. I have a blue front door. She's now going to get the depot to contact the driver and see if he can attempt to redeliver today, but I'm guessing the odds of that will be approximately zero. I'm away from 10:00 tomorrow so if I don't get it before then I'm stuffed.

Right now I'm WELL pi**ed off.

At least they're meant to be calling me back within an hour to confirm what's happening, but if they're not going to deliver today I'm tempted to make an hour drive to the Trafford Centre Apple Store - anyone know what the situation there is like?

Why not just pick it up tonight once the van has returned to the depot, or tomorrow morning.

They allow collections from the depot and it shouldn't be too far from you. :)

I would believe them, my unit arrived with a chip out of the box, just arranged a courier replacement with apple for next week.

Are you going to white now? What day next week if you don't mind me asking, as i'll probably end up phoning them and asking for an exchange for a white one because of the black scuffing so easily.

T-Mobile saying on twitter they has been a warehouse issue and pre-orders are going out monday?

Bad Service there! lol.

After seeing all these pictures and posts about the black on scuffing incredibly easy, i'm very disappointed and my black 32gb hasn't even arrived yet.

If i was to phone my local apple store and say can i come down and exchange it for a white one, would they let me, does anyone know?

I'd probably not even open it, and just head straight down to the store and exchange it, as any slight scuff would drive me insane!

Anyone know?

To be honest, they'll only do a like for like swap!

Glad to hear your news. I'm awaiting delivery too, but the tracking is showing as delivery Monday. Do you have the number of the UPS depot in Newtownabbey?

Thank you!

Sam the number i dialled was 08457877877, i know its not a local number but the lady who i spoke to was very helpful

PS I just got my delivery in Magherafelt.

The driver said he was doing out in the 'sticks' first before heading back to the city!!:D Hope this helps good luck!!

UK Mail just delivered mine. Can confirm if anyone bought apple care, there was a little jiffy envelope with a apple care booklet in it as well as the phone

edit: I'm in Bromley, London

This is standard for UKMail, I'm expecting the same level of service today.

Unfortunately UK Mail are not unloading any missed deliveries tonight, they're leaving them on vans to try to redeliver tomorrow so there's no option to collect from their depot tonight (there's a special section on their web site with info about iPhone 5 deliveries)

Even if the driver does manage to get my correct address tomorrow, after 10:00am no one will be there.

They wouldn't do this for you in store as it's an online order and you don't have a store receipt. You'd need to go back through the online store.
