UK iPhone 5 thread

Why Apple chose the WORST company in the UK to deliver the ip5?
UKMail is the only company I ever had problems, and I still have, they missed me at 16 and they not even left a calling card.
They are stupid, the drivers have iq of -200. Apes are more clever.
I wonder how I NEVER had problems with amazon prime, dpd, royal mail etc.

Now I have to wait until Monday.....

I wasted my day!!!! For fk sake!
 
This is pretty appalling! I've been at the office for an extra 50 minutes now.. They say it'll come by 8 but I'd really rather not spend my entire Friday evening waiting for a delivery that might not come, at this rate.

The depot is only a mile away, on the same road!

That means the driver couldn't be asked anymore and headed back to the depot once his shift ran out.

Try calling them again - 150 and the 1, 4 (you aren't eligble to upgrade blah blah), then press 1. I reckon you'll get a tracking number now. Exactly what happened to you happened to me. And i just got that text too. Muppets.

I think business addresses wont get deliveries outside of business hours i.e. 9-5?
Check the tracking page.
 
Got mine! It does have some minor "scuffs" but you really need to look hard to see it. Im loving the phone, its awesome!!:D
 
Orange have screwed me over, I was meant to pick it up in-store with my Auth. & Ref. code, but have been sent away saying it's going to arrive at my house 'in the next 4 weeks'.
So frustrating.

I'm away for a few days now, was looking forward to taking my new iPhone with me.
 
I've been put in such a **** mood that I'm not even bothered about opening mine. It's just sitting at the bottom of my stairs.
 
I basically ordered an iPhone 5 with Orange and O2 at the same time on Saturday (both similar contracts) as couldn't decide on a network.

Decided fate will choose which one, so whatever one got here first, I'd keep.

O2 iPhone just arrived. It's lovely!

Orange just dispatched my iPhone for delivery tomorrow, so will decline delivery and get that sent back. :)

Finally my phone got scanned at Aberdeen depot at 12.56pm after Yodel received the item at 21.40. I presume the distribution centre is in the midlands somewhere? Surely the lorry broke down as it does not taken 14 hours even in a lorry to get to Aberdeen, CPW also reassured that it was meant to be delivered yesterday! :eek: Anyway it's been securely scanned twice now and probably won't expect to see it till Monday. Unless they decide to stick it on a Saturday van :rolleyes:

I was leaving work at 5.30 on the dot when i saw the UPS van pull up!
Perfect timing

Proud owner of a iphone 5 64gb black,

Perfect without a blemish or mark on it. Worth the wait.

This is not acceptable!!! I have rang them numerous of times today.

Learned my lesson: DO NOT TRUST UPS!
