UK iPhone 5 thread

LOVE the earbuds! Couldn't use the old ones had my trusty Sennheiser ones instead.

However, I can't get them back in the frickin box now! Grrrrr! Does anyone have a photo so I know which way round they go? :confused:


eta: Found the unboxing thread on the first page. Got the buds back in and the wire sort of in enough to get the lid back on. Phew!

Are you trying to ring your local depot or the central customer services? Your local depot will probably be more helpful and remember they will allegedly deliver again tomorrow.
 
CPW order - still waiting for dispatch!!!!!!!

Told yesterday all orders were being delivered today and now have rung them to be told iphone is in picking and will be with me monday or tuesday!

What a shambles!!!!!!!!

Any others still waiting on cpw?

To be fair the guy looked exhausted and you could tell he had been delivering iPhones all day. He even had one more box in his hand which means someone else in my building was also waiting with bated breath.

Phone really is light and pretty. I have a tiny/un-noticeable scuff mark too. But nothing major...i had to dig deep to find it.

Screen is more colourful/vibrant than my 4S but my 4S has superior whites (paperwhite vs warmer [but not yellow] whites). Probably an LG display. My 4S is also slightly brighter.

Best of luck to everyone else and commiserations to the Monday-nites.

Ouch, what did you order? I ordered on Wednesday and it's in a depot being delivered either tomorrow or Monday .
 
Are any of these late deliveries UPS? The tracking page says mines still out for delivery but I have a feeling I'm going to be let down.
Certainly deflated my hype :(

Great shipped also about 20 minutes ago. Delivery Monday which means a week early. Just hope it arrives now.

Yeh, I have a black 32gb on o2, so must be down to orange then? I was told at the time of ordering it would arrive on Tuesday at the latest. I think they say a longer date to cover themselves half the time.
 
I called up UPS at 6pm and they said it's still with delivery man. They told me to call back at 7 if it doesn't come and they would chase it up with the delivery man. I called back up at 6:55 and they said they will contact the delivery man. 30 mins later, the iPhone arrives :) Driver told me that he was going back to depot with the remainder of phones at 7pm but he got a call (regarding my iPhone) so he came down to drop it :D

I am porting number from O2 to Orange and got told it would be Monday/Tuesday because it is the weekend which is pretty pathetic as I picked up the phone from the shop and signed the contract at 12.30pm.
 
Ha - my phone arrived at quarter to 4 this afternoon.

My sisters was due for delivery today too.

Sat here at 5 to 8 thinking - no way.

I said - just hold out til 8.

What happens - van pulls up at 7:58! :D

She's made up!
 
My phone still not delivered by UKMail. It's scanned back in to the warehouse, i was all day at home waiting and no card left. Who should i complain this to??

All .. No chance. There's still lots of us waiting and/or are disappointed.

I think there would be 100s of people (general public/not inerds) disappointed with it not coming on the expected day..

I've just spent the past hour putting music on the 16GB, you're right about the photos though :( completely forgot about that.

Going to sell 16GB to CEX tomorrow for 540 (hopefully) :D
