Back up now, awww crap, still processing!!!
Well for whatever reason it was down it was not to update our orders.
Its a bit of a crappy system if you have to take it offline to update orders
But yeah I hope mine changes too!
I got a reply back from Customer Services. Nothing new except this time they are almost admitting the delivery time is an estimate and subject to change

Without putting a downer on your situation (I am waiting also) but is it even possible physically to get it to you now for 8th....
Easily, if it ships tomorrow. It's an overnight delivery, as are most things you buy from the internet. It won't ship from China, they'll come from a central location in the UK, having been shipped over en masse.
They didn't do that for my iPad 3 or iPhone 4S, I'd assume this is no different. If you look back through the thread, you'll see all the preorders shipped via Syncreon and the couriers collect from there and distribute them to their local hubs. I see no reason why this would change for the ongoing orders.

Yes it came back up, still said processing, then went down again. Don't care anymore, I'm resigned to getting it next week.
Just had a text from Apple to say my phone will be delivered tomorrow !!!!!! Eu-bloody-reka !!!!!

Ordered 14th Sep with delivery estimated 02-08th October
at 12pm today, it was still processing
at approx 1:15pm today it changed to Preparing for shipping
Site went down at about 2 ish
Received email and text at approx 6:15pm
Checked tracking number and it's due tomorrow before 6pm
Hope everyone else gets similar results....soon !!!!!

Ordered midday on 14th .. Couldn't get into account all afternoon .. Back in now but still says 'processing' ... Monday at the earliest then. Still within their timeframe but would have appreciated a bit more info!!

Hi Crozzer, what courier are they using??
Crozzer, can you post a screenshot of your order page please. I want to see what 'Shipped' or 'Preparing for Shipment' looks like seeming as I've been waiting for it to switch for 20 days lol
I think it's too late but I know couriers are loading vans and stuff until like 1am so there is still a chance we get it tomorrow however it's very worrying that the status hasn't changed nor have we received texts or emails. I wouldn't bank on tomorrow.
