Thats fair enough...i would think that they must know what the price will be. will have to wait lol

Companies like CeX are not helping either. You can sell an unlocked iPhone 5 16GB version to CeX for £607. That's an £80 profit for anybody that bought several on release day just to flog on.

Not anymore you can't, they are offering £539 for mint 16GB iPhone 5.

The website still says they are offering £607, as long as its unlocked and 'mint'.

I'm tempted just to buy one from CEX !

In my local cex shop they have both colours and all gb capacities.

Ok they are classed as 2nd hand but in essence it's people who have upgraded and then sold them straight away !

I always feel the need to have a shower in bleach after I've been in a CEX, so my advice is don't bother!

16GB for £710!? You my friend, have more money then sense! That's a £180 mark up!

Apparently my 32GB Black order from CPW that I placed yesterday is on its way. According to their status checker:

"Your order is being processed. Your order should arrive on Wed, 10 Oct 2012."

So not quite next-day delivery as promised, but not too bad.

I went for the £299 + £26/mo contract with O2. Seems like pretty good value - Unlimited calls/texts, and 1GB data for effectively £13.50/month net. Less than I spend on my current Orange prepay each month.

O2 also have the fairly reasonable £1.99/day for 25MB data roaming in Europe, and are still the only UK carrier that supports visual voicemail (AFAIK).

Visual voicemail

Orange's website claims that you can get visual voicemail now, but when I called the number, they said not yet. It will become available in a few months time. When I asked them to be more specific, they weren't able to be.

For anyone after lighthning->usb cables, walked in Manc Apple store, they had zip. Walked into Dixons (shudder) and they had a display full. I've now reached my ideal number of 3, one for the bedroom, one downstairs and one in my work bag :)

Now all I'm waiting for is Mophie to release a 5 targeted juice pack battery case. Not a fan of cases, my 5 has been naked since launch and is still mint, but I do like the double battery life that battery cases provide.

Lol. I've bought Xbox games and one phone from them before. A Nokia 900 and I did ask what would happen if the phone became blocked by the network ref nonpayment by the original owner and they said "we'll supply you with another straightaway, and chase the original seller as we only buy from members"

Well I had no issues from the phone but I must admit I'm a little wary of paying £625 for the iPhone 5 16gb 02 mint model.

Without no receipt I wonder if Apple would honour any issues possibly arising within its 12 warranty period !

Think I'll wait patiently and pay £529 for a brand new one from an Apple High-street Outlet.

Anyone else checked out the new desktop charging stand for the iPhone 5 designed to accept naked and cased up iPhone 5's.

Anyone know where i can find an unlocked one in london region? i can pay up to 600 pounds

Try CEX or classified ads, you won't walk in and just buy one from Apple with current demand levels.

You don't need a receipt for Apple warranty, but I do agree, far more sensible to wait and buy one at £529.

You're both right, sorry. I was looking at the locked handset quote.

Hmm, if it wasn't such a long wait, I'd probably sell mine to them and buy another..

What many have done no doubt. £80 is a nice profit and possibly worth waiting 3-4 weeks for a replacement from Apple.
