woot woot, it appears Apple are getting thier act together and have plenty of units being produced..

When did you place your order?

Ive placed mine on 29th September and my delivery is between 24th and 30th
I would love it if my order changed to a week earlier.:)
 
I'm just waiting for all the people who had to wait the full time for their delivery to start complaining that you guys had your delivery window brought forward.

My order was placed on 19th September, but didn't go to 'processing' until 21st for some reason.

Could be same problem. Although I'm on a 4S on iOS 6 here on 3 network and my usage stats are not showing anything abnormal. It was a carrier settings issue for Verizon customers in the USA which was causing data leakage. Even when you were on WiFi a bug was allowing the iPhone to switch to 3G/4G. I imagine not enough people have noticed and complained to the carriers over here yet until their first couple of bills land and they're wondering why they've been charged so much!

If you're on unlimited data or have a large enough cap, you probably won't notice unless you track your usage carefully.

Check that iCloud is configured to not sync documents over Mobile Data (in Settings -> iCloud -> Documents & Data). I believe it defaults to ON in iOS 6.

True. I'm on unlimited myself, though I do still check my usage now and then. It could go unnoticed as a problem for several months, however there are far fewer unlimited plans across all the networks then there are capped plans.
 
So I'm back from metro centre (yup... I'm mad)

Got the white 32 I was after, and its not perfect, but its alright. Might come back to it once stock is better! Few chips, but looks loads better than the black in my opinion of course.

When did you order yours? I ordered my Black iPhone 5 on the 22nd , got a date for 18th - 24th.... It's not changed yet :( Boooo

You got yourself a chipped Iphone 5 for £600 :confused:

you should have showed the sales rep the faults and asked them to go open another..

We both checked it, him more than me actually and didn't notice it. Then I sat in the car looking for faults and found one. Need to check its not dust etc first.

It's one of those where you'll think I'm mad for noticing. I'll try and take some pics later.

Does anyone know if any tescos have any cases in? I need a cheapo one just for a few days.

Not seen any cases in tescos mate, but ebay is your best bet if you dont mind waiting, but if its a case you want straight out, then either pop down to a market stall in city centre or 02 shop is selling some decent ones. HMV has a few cases too, checked Asda yday and didnt see any cases.

Currys/Pcworld have got a few too.

I'm intending to use my old official samsung leather wallet case in the short term, the sgs2 and ip5 have very little difference in dimensions. You might spot a cheap one of those on your travels to tide you over.
 
Really hope those waiting for their iphone 5 get it quick as I'm loving mine... Wouldn't go back to my 4s... Amazing feel and smooth. Just so much quicker going through apps and through settings
 
EE price plans.

EE plans must be really close to being announced, internal training is up but password protected :'(
