Nice one!

I'm WFH today and have relocated from my office to the lounge so I can see the UK Mail van when it pulls up!

I guess there won't be much work getting done right after it arrives!

Looks a bit cheaty. Anyway, how do you get the reservation with a different name. I don't have so many friends willing to follow me to the AS

I've collected my iPhone 5 reserved to my relative today.
Email confirmation was enough to collect it. I had ID of my relative, but did not show it.
Paid by my credit card and get a receipt on my name.

The first iPhone has a small scratch on the edge. Therefore I asked for a replacement and get another iPhone with no problem.

My 18-24th (black 32Gb, ordered 21 Sept) went to 'Preparing for shipment' a couple of hours ago. Can't see it being dispatched today so looks like early next week for me.

I'm going for a Giffgaff nano sim, NanoGaff, but it hasn't arrived yet so no rush ;-)

I just thought I would add to this thread.

I ordered on 26th September. My estimated delivery is 19/10/2012 - 25/10/2012 and still shows as processing. Is this normal?

I sure do hope my iPhone 5 is week 39 or later. I q'd up hours on launch day and went through 6 boxes in total on the Friday and Saturday after launch.

I ordered on 26th September. My estimated delivery is 19/10/2012 - 25/10/2012 and still shows as processing. Is this normal?

I sure do hope my iPhone 5 is week 39 or later. I q'd up hours on launch day and went through 6 boxes in total on the Friday and Saturday after launch.

Don't get too hung up on the week build number.

I recently picked up a week 38 sim free 16gb iphone 5 Black/Slate from my local uk Apple shop and its pristine.

No stuck pixels
No loose screen.
No dents,dings or scuffs
No WiFi issues.

I recently picked up a week 38 from my local uk Apple shop and its pristine.

No stuck pixels
No loose screen.
No dents,dings or scuffs
No WiFi issues.

Sweet, as long as it has no dents, scuffs, scratches, wifi issues, home button issues and screen issues I'm game. (Seem like I am expecting too much, lol)

If you choose to pay in Euros it works out about £6 cheaper, as long as your bank don't pile on commission etc..

3rd day of trying. I am not a lucky person, but I got a confirmation to one of my emails at about 8:30pm tonight.

Some helpful details:
1. 6-10 different IP's per day
2. Different email/name to each IP
3. Each "user" made a reservation for white AND black 16GB iPhones in ALL following shops:
London, White City
London, Regent Street
London, Brent Cross
London, Covent Garden
London, Stratford City
Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes
Watford, The Harlequin
Grays, Essex, Lakeside
Greenhithe, Kent, Bluewater
Kingston upon Thames, Bentall Centre
Reading, The Oracle
Bromley, The Glades

The successful reservation was made for Bluewater at about 10:20am, so definitely NO first come first serve basis, as my other "users" reserved iPhones in ALL shops at 9:00, 9:30 etc
And you can at least try as much shops as you want everyday!

Try more entries every day. Such as 10-20 reservations even from the same email to the same shop. Good luck!

Wow - how come your getting such a quick delivery? Mine just flagged up as shipped in the last half hour (was checking as the status changed, then the email came through). Coming via UPS (so far) but my delivery date is the 24th still. That's nearly a week away, not next day. Anyone would think it was coming all the way from China ;-)

Im in the same boat as you, except that expected delivery is on the 22nd by UPS. Is there any way I can speed up delivery for tomorrow or Saturday at least? It's not that im impatient, I will be leaving the UK on the 22nd and it would be a pain if the phone doesnt arrive before that date...

I do not think that UPS will allow you to upgrade the delivery process to Saturday delivery. But if your phone will reach your local UPS depot by Saturday, you can definitely collect it form there on Saturday!
Keep track the parcel online, UPS has one of the best real time tracking systems
