UK iPhone 5 thread

had my email confirmation at 8:00am and im still on 'processing items'.. i have gone for a white one. are the guys getting prepared for shipment buying the black & slate?

Yeah, i'm on preparing for shipment, I got confirmation e-mail at 8.08. I'm sure that anyone who ordered within those first few minutes will next it next Friday no problem.
 
Without a doubt this has been the smoothest Apple product launch for me.

I ordered via the Apple app at 8:06 with no issues, its now preparing for shipment.

I nipped into my local 3 Store today to change over to a nano sim.

My only issue is that I head over to the States for 5 days on Wednesday so will be out of the country when it arrives. I'll just need to pick it up on the Tuesday i get back.
 
Have all these people that have had theirs change to preparing for shipment had their money taken from their account?

Yeah I agree, i practically flew through the Apple ordering process at just after 8 this morning.

O2, however, have been another deal entirely. I'll have to pop into town on release day to pick up my nano sim. Surely they would just want phone purchasers there on day 1? Oh well.
 
Orange In Store

I am looking at early upgrade through orange. Only problem is that I am still waiting for the money to be paid for my iPhone 4S, so can't pay the early upgrade charge till payday.

Will orange be selling iphone InStore next Friday morning, also can the do the early upgrade InStore?

I put my new 3 sim in my 4 a few hours after getting it out of curiosity (my old micro sim was still working) and it worked immediately :)

I'm an 08:24 (2 x 64GB Black)

Still only at 'Processing Items', and no payment attempt has been made against my Barclaycard.
 
i take it if it says preparing for shipment all is ok and bank account worked ok? i was worrying that there was going to be a problem as i had so many things go wrong with the bank lol,
