That could be the case... I just checked my bank account balance after I did the order and the money had gone from the account, classed as ''debit card transaction'' on my statement.

The time the payment goes through varies for everyone.

For the iPad 3 it went through straight away for me, while the 4S took a few days
 
Just to put my mind at rest, has anyone else not yet received a confirmation email from 3? I put my order through about 2pm today, and was told that it would arrive on the 21st via DPD. However, I never received any confirmation despite handing over my email address... I am also thinking about up-ing my contract to the One plan. £2 extra a month god knows why I didn't take it :eek:

Perhaps I should call them tomorrow.

I ordered with 3 over the phone and they didnt take an email address or give me any kind of confirmation
 
Just got off the phone, £31pm on Orange with £150 upfront cost.
Pickup from store on Friday.

I just phoned up to check if it had all gone through
when I upgraded online and it was some Indian guy saying that due to back log they cant find out for 7 DAYS(!!!!) if my order has through or not! So i might wait a week only to be told that something was wrong with the order.
 
Ordered my 32Gb black just now on 3, told me that stock was limited. Amazingly smooth service, no confirmation email though. Told I'll get an email from dpd on Thursday!

Protip: Hover around their sales page for about 5 minutes and a popup window will appear for "livechat" you will be put throught to someone in sales who you can ask for a nano sim.. they then put you through to a customer service agent in livechat who then orders one for you no problems..

Just ordered mine, will be here in 3-5 business days. He actually knew what a nano sim was - genius!

Happy now

I got that too..must be a mistake. Orange werent helpful on the phone either. Im hoping mine has gone through as ive just noticed on my account on orange it now says '

Ordered mine around 14:30 and no confirmation yet. I was told the same as you and they also took my email address.

Looks like a couple of people have had the same experience so hopefully our orders have gone through.
 
I upgraded this morning on the phone with Vodafone.

I was on a 600 min, unlimited text and 500mb internet 12 month 4s plan, and they upgraded me to unlimited minutes and text, 2 gb internet and 3 gb bt open zone for the same price!

I'm so happy with Vodafone customer service.:)

But I haven't received an email conformation or anything else.

Anybody the same?:confused:

I upgraded yo a 16GB iPhone 5 this morning on Orange and immediately got a text and email saying 'Thanks for upgrading..blah blah blah.. We'll deliver your phone on 2012-09-17 between 8am and 6pm, and someone will need to be there to sign for it.' Obviously, it wont be delivered then. The text said the same.

I havent had any other contact since then, the order number tracker wont work either, but maybe thats cause it hasn't shipped yet. Im getting a little worried somethings gone wrong and they haven't told me.

I would have thought I'd have gotten an email with all my order details in it by now.

I had that too. Orange said it is an error. I'm guessing we won't know more till they sort the fallout out from this morning and their systems dying.
