I can only echo other posters frustrations with O2.
Whichever team organises new product launches within O2 need their heads banged together.
They knew the iPhone 5 was coming, they must have known it was going to utilise a nano SIM. They know the upcoming EE is likely to lead to higher than normal churn.
Yet they botch the whole thing, and after numerous other botch jobs they still haven't learnt.
Preorders - Handled terribly, customer services / twitter reps spouting the same old rubbish. Finally preorders go live at daft o clock.
Nano SIMs - How to keep your customers happy? Give them what they ask for! So many posts in here about the various customer service responses to a simple question. From what I can gather the official response is to go in to the store on 21/9 and ask for a SIM. So along with those queuing for a new iPhone, you've now got hundreds/thousands of people asking for SIM cards. Then those people also may wish to transfer phone numbers, once again crippling the system.
I posted earlier how easy it was for me to get an O2 micro SIM before the 4 launch, why should this be any different, it's an identical situation?
Three is looking like a solid option now, simply because they've (for the most part) got their act together.
