reading these forums will just raise your blood pressure! I fully expect us early pre-order'ers to get our phones next week.
Everyones all excited about preorders at the moment i know BUT....What time you guys headed to stores next friday to start queueing to get it that way? I'm getting 32gb black and thinking about headed to my local (Exeter) for around 6AM previous years i have had them reserved but as thats not an option don't know what time to go now!
I preordered this time but queued up for the 4 and 4s so thought I'd add my 2p worth,
The iPhone 4 I was desperate for and had convinced myself that I wasn't going to get one so I made sure I was there in plenty of time, I got outside the store (big city centre O2 store) at about 5am, took a camping chair and a book, as I arrived I was the first one there, felt a bit daft and thought I'd over reacted, about 10 minutes later another fella turned up, then another 3, by 6 am there was about 50 people there, by 7 about 100. At about 7:30 the store staff came out with cards to hand out to reserve your handset, as I was at the front I knew I was safe, I asked out of interest how many handsets they had, she said 250, she went down the line handing them out, about 50 missed out (although I did hear another branch in the same city had enough stock for them)
As for the 4s launch, this was for the wife, went to a smaller town branch, got there about 6:30 ish and was about 10th in the queue,
I guess it's all down to the size of the branch and the popularity of the device.... Good Luck though bud
Mine was on the site and i cant remember what time ill check the email. But I had a problem with Barclaycard initially so that could have delayed it.
Three is awesome. I recently moved from O2 to Three, and I am so glad I did. The data speeds are surprisingly fast in comparison. Often it loads pages at near wifi speed on my iPhone 4.
I'm in exactly the same boat. Fed up with how O2 are being over the Nano Sims whilst their competitors are literally giving them away. Hopefully they'll sort it out before release but I'm not holding my breath, :/
it looks like this time around when there was a payment block apple kept the orders the same aslong as a payment was made before a cut off time.. it took me about a hour to sort out the payment too and mine is marked as preparing for shipping also
when you log into apple store and look at the tracking page, at the top will be in RED writting there has been a problem authoriseing the payment etc.. please try to send again press HERE, i had to phone bank and have the block lifted then i tried the link to send autho again and it went though instantly

Ah right well I haven't got that, or had that. Just wondering why mine is still processing when I ordered it at 08:05. Maybe it's because I added AppleCare?

Three nano sim now fully working in my 4S with the adapter... Roll on Friday for a problem free change over! (hopefully)

They don't go based on a strict order, sometimes people who were the first to order are the last to ship but they still get in on launch day.
