I'm torn between ordering the black 64GB off the Three website now or queuing next Friday at the Staines store, my iphone 4 got stolen a couple of weeks ago so at the moment I'm on a Blackberry so would really like to get it next Friday!

The Three website says estimated delivery 21st Sept, is this what everyone else has or those who ordered it earlier on in the day does it says guaranteed? And for those who have queued at a Three store in the past, what time did you arrive and how long did you have to wait? I have a Three store relatively close to work so could maybe go in slightly late to work but dont want to be waiting for hours!

From past orders with three....all I can say is they have never been late with me for their estimated del dates....sometimes I even get things early (but that's usually things they send in royal mail like sim cards)

Oh, I already have a contract, don't need another one. Or are you just going to cancel that £12.90 pm and use the sim?

Oh sorry mate, I thought u bought the phone from apple.....I don't do contracts.....if u already have a contract tho, how did u get the phone?? Cos if u upgraded then surely u will just get the sim with the phone, but if u bought the phone and just wanna transfer your current contract to the new phone, then (a) that was probably very expensive and silly lol....and (b) you can prob just go in store to get it transferred? I dunno

I'm selling my contract iPhone 4S (still a year to go) and putting the money towards the iPhone 5. I need to transfer my micro sim to a nano sim.

O2 32GB White iPhone 5. Sorted! Was gonna get the 64GB until I saw what a price hike it incurred compared to the other carriers. I'd have left o2 ages ago if they weren't the only carrier where I could get signal.

I feel your pain!

Yeah, lots of inconsistency at 3 it seems. My nano sim is in my 4 now and fully working, cost me nothing. When I asked yesterday at same shop, they hadn't a clue what I was talking about.

If you currently have a Three pay monthly contract for your iPhone and are buying an iPhone 5 from say Apple direct like me you can call 333 and get a free pay monthly nano-sim card to transfer you number over to. :D

Why would you have left? I'm thinking of leaving orange to move to O2 (bad orange reception in my home). Any thing I need to be aware about with O2 (except no 4G?)

Why don't you look at Tesco or GiffGaff? They are virtual networks that run on O2

Giffgaff don't have nano sims and neither do Tesco, I believe.

My family have been on giffgaff for a year or so now with various iphones and I am really happy with the coverage and value - however they can be a bit shambolic sometimes..
They are apparently expecting to have nano sims in the 'coming months'(!) which is causing quite a storm on their forums.
Their £10 250 mins UL text and internet is almost certainly changing to 750MB or £13 for UL soon, as well.

I intend to get my PAC as a safety measure (they send it to you automatically following a text request) and cut down / shave my sim when my i5 arrives on Fri - if I bugger the sim then I'm off to Three, with my PAC already in hand :)

I was going to order a Three 1 month sim and have it here ready too but the contract starts when the sim arrives NOT when you put it in your phone - if my cut-down giffgaff sim works ok I won't need the Three one and I can only imagine what cancelling is like through their call centre!

Is there anyone here in the Kidderminster, Worcestershire area on 3? Am wondering what the service is like as their website says the signal might not be very good indoors.

Tesco have the iPhone 5 on their site, so I suspect a nano sim coming?

I'm on Tesco just now but I'll be jumping ship to 3 perhaps. I'm on a capped £12.50 and 3 only comes close but still can't match it. (500mins 5000texts 1GB data, and errrr Clubcard points lol)

Email confirmation received at 8:00am yesterday and still showing order processing. Getting a 16gb white +apple care.

Moving to three on a 30 day sim only deal from Vodafone (who made no attempt to match that offer and keep me and were happy to hand over my PAC code).

Looks likes is time to go and enjoy The last few sunny weekends were gonna get this ear year and worry about the pre order on Monday.

What case have you bought ready, for the iPhone 5

Bought yesterday the iPhone 5 Barely There Case 'Case-Mate' in black off their website. Had their iPhone 4 Barely There Case in Brushed Aluminium in black, which I was pleased with.

Cost £20.00, and will change it when they bring out the Brushed Aluminium in black for the iPhone 5.

As to recommending three, I've been very happy with them, on a monthly contract sim only.

Bought the same case but off a different website for a bit cheaper

This iPhone 5 bumper should see me over for a few weeks for £3 deliverd :)
