Just had confirmation from my credit card that the full amount for my 64GB Silver 5S has been successfully authorised, however the order still says processing - guess it will change to prepared for shipment sometime soon. Ordered at 0.01 on the 20th... looks like they really are on the way!

Looks like supply of Gold 5S is quite constrained as not many people who ordered gold got their status changed.

It's possible, yes. Apple could dispatch on Saturday (I've never seen a Sunday dispatch but it could happen).
My iPhone 5S red case arrived today. It looks nice covering my iPhone 5, but it's a real shame that the 5S wasn't with it.
Payment for my 64gb silver is now pending on my credit card, which it wasn't earlier (and never has been since I placed the order) so something is obviously happening with my order, even though the status hasn't changed
the opposite happened with me. the pending payment disappeared altogether. still hung up at "processing items" though.
Its out ... its done ... carrier update hit about 2 hours ago. 4G is live on iPhone 5S
So went to brent cross around 6pm and stock was all gone as expected. Spoke to one of the guys at the door and they did the usual 'I don't know if we will have any tomorrow'. He also recommended I come back Monday as that would be my best bet! He looked pretty sheepish when he said that so will definitely be trying tomorrow. Question is which store do I try. Closest three stores to me are brent cross, Watford and White City being the furthest. I've been calling Watford and brent cross daily during the week and it appeared that stores haven't been well stocked out. What have people's experience been with Westfield white city's stock? I'm only looking for a space grey, so hopefully shouldn't have an issue getting one tomorrow, as long as there is a delivery!
I'm planning to head to Regent st, Coventry garden n Brent cross (luckily live 5mins from B cross) if status online order status doesn't change overnight.

Nothing on my American Express, although there was when I ordered (The full amount).
One advantage of ordering online with Apple with my Amex is that I get double points for some mysterious reason lol I don't in-store though.
I was in queue at white city, after going regents street and covent garden with no luck, i could have got any silver or grey at 9.30 in the queue about 35 people in front. But they have had stock everyday since wednesday so im not sure if they will get tomorrow. Also it being a weekend more people will probably be going so wherever you are going get there earlier.
Im trying to hold out for a gold for me and my sister ,but its increasingly unlikely as all the scalpers are at the front of the queue taking 2 gold models each.

I think I shall try the two london stores. I got close to getting the models i wanted today if it wasnt for the scalpers and their bags full of money.
When I went into the Three store (in amongst trying aggressively to persuade me to take out a contract even though I wanted and eventually got it on PAYG) the assistant suggested all of the Apple stores had stock but 'are drip feeding stock to keep a buzz about the product'. Makes sense to an extent but perhaps not from a profit point of view.
Although if they limit what they sell enough so they can still say they outsold the previous iPhone but can also then say it the following year with the new model because they can sell accordingly knowing the demand will be there.
On an additional note - Three have now unlocked my phone less than 24 hours after filling out their online form.

Brent Cross had delivery this morning. Ran out before 11.
Doubt they'll have tomorrow.
Ordered iPhone 5S from o2 on Monday, got it on Tuesday, paid Phone Plan and requested unlock on Tuesday too... No luck so far, it can take upto 10 working days, so simply return it tomorrow for the full refund

Hope all of our online order status changes overnight to avoid hassles with scalpers and getting hands on new phone soon
The easiest way is just refuse the delivery

By the way, anyone on O2 who's upgraded either with them or are getting phone via Apple...
Even if you had a 2012 iPhone 5 Nano sim you WILL need a new 2013 4G enabled nano sim...
They are different sim's and has a little 4G in the corner of the side with serial number on.
If you ordered from O2 they include a sim in the box but it just says for Pay monthly and Business customers ... makes no real mention of it being 4G but a sim-swap will be needed. Only takes about 20 minutes on their http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk/ site

Well brent cross open at 9 tomorrow and white city at 10. Both fairly close to me, so will head to brent cross early and then go to white city if no luck.
Will be frustrating if there is no stock on a weekend, its going to make it impossible for those of us at work. I can't even order online as I have a store gift card that I want to use and it can only be used in the physical store! Completely ridiculous!
I thought Tim Cook is trying to encourage us all to go their retail stores? It feels like he is doing everything to turn us away, it's been a horrible experience!

its a phone! some people on here must think that its a new lung transplant thats coming!!
i dont agree / disagree what apple have done but they cant do right for doing wrong.....when IOS7 was released on the 18th and the whole world and possibly ET was trying to download it, they get slated as the servers could not cope (not surprised there!!)
So for the 5s launch, they decide to stagger it worldwide to avoid the blackouts and...people are still unhappy.
Yeah i agree it was unlucky that us brits were put onto a 7-10 business day delivery from the start but...its not like its next year!! and to goto CPW to get one and then put in a 3 simcard...then pay to get it unlocked to use on what ever network your using...are you mad? Paying the extra £15 to use the phone roughly 7 days sooner?? wow! (Or is it a case of that you want to show off your new toy to your friends as they have an older model)
I dont think any company could store and dispatch millions of phones in all colours and sizes within a few days of it being released. If they sold 9 million in the first weekend...nobody could predict what colour / size were the most common ones.
I ordered a 64gb grey via apple...and it gets here when it gets here. If its here next week...great, if its not then it will be the following week...great. At least some of the IOS bugs will have been ironed out before i get it!!!
