Ordered as soon as as the iOS app went live (as desktop version was still offline), confirmation email bang on 00:01 (stating that it was ordered on the 19th :D , and waiting ever since :(

But, it's still within the 7-10 days, so not a lot i can do apart from watch the people convert into plane stalkers :D

Identical shipping time to me! It says local time, does UPS mean local time to destination or current time local to the package?

local time. that is the time in China. and yeah tracking begins :D

You'd better hope they aren't holding all those iPhones to allow the others that haven't been built yet to catch up :)

on Saturday.

Just got a message from the Apple store app that it has dispatched. The initial tracking on apple website has eta of 7th October. Hopefully that is pessimistic and maybe Friday more realistic.

Edit: checked ups tracking, that says by end Friday, I'm pleased with that.

My 64gb silver has changed to dispatched :) according to ups, it will be with me on Friday, which suits me because I'm stuck indoors all day Friday anyway!

Could be that Apple has told them to only deliver within a window specified by themselves.

If i remember correctly, previous iPhone releases were held and delivered on the day of release, whereas the courier companies had them a day or so early?
 
I am so glad to see lots of you having so much fun tracking your shiny new toys all over the world.

My 32gb gold has been stuck on processing since 12.05 last Friday!

Still got 2 or 3 days before the 7 to 10 days dispatch deadline is up then I will start to get concerned.

But with the chinese holiday starting tomorrow til the 7th, how will this affect orders!?

They may well be waiting for others.

Given the dispatch dates from China a delivery tomorrow would be fairly easy and today a possibility (demonstrated by the Ireland deliveries that seem to be happening).

The fact that we have got Wednesday delivery dates suggests to me that they will likely be in Cologne until tomorrow. Perhaps those which seem to be moving rom China today will join them and then they will be dispatched to various regions tomorrow.

If that is the case then those dispatching today could still be delivered on Wednesday.

Just speculation though.
