So frustrated that nothing at all seems to have happened to our Gold 32GB/64GB orders for 10 days! I mean.. What the...
I have a uncomfortable feeling that the Gold order's may not even ship in the 7-10 day window. Nothing solid to base this upon, but it really would not surprise me.
I'm not complaining though tbh, no rush for the cash to leave my bank.

just a quick question. since mine iPhone 5s is Model 1457. i am planning to move to USA in near future. will i be able to use LTE there? if yes then which carriers? looking forward for help thanks

None, while the US and UK models have some overlap of bands used, none of those bands are used by the US carriers.

The only one that shows up on any of the same bands as the UK iPhone (1,3,5,7,8,20) is U.S. Cellular (band 5 planned 2013)

I believe I already replied to you on this, but maybe you missed it.

Simple answer is no, you can't.

Long answer is that UPS won't allow it to be changed because you are not the customer, Apple is the customer and only they can make a change to the delivery address until a 1st attempt has been made. Apple won't agree to changing the address, especially if its not the the registered cardholder address because of the risk of fraud, plus there is sometimes a cost involved in making an address change.

Sorry I must of missed it.

Thanks to both yourself and Mercenary for your responses

Hmm...

My iPhones are held in warehouse. I am not sure whether this is due to a custom issue or simply waiting for a next batch of iPhones. Anyone has a clue on this?

I just called UPS UK branch (08457 877 877), and asked why my stuff is held in warehouse. The operator checked mine and said it is scheduled for delivery on 2nd October, so it is just a middle of progress. Now it is obvious that my iPhones will sit there until tomorrow afternoon. :(

Oh well... 2nd is much sooner than 7th October anyway. Time to have a lunch break.

Not sure how many phones will be delivered around the UK on Wednesday but it might be that UPS had to ensure they had the capacity to deliver them all from their depots. Probably talking about a few hundred phones at least on top of their normal deliveries. Posisbly Wednesday is normally their quietest day so made sense to schedule for then.

My 2 phones just arrived :D:D:D:D

downside: can't set them up at work as I don't have the nano sims with me :(

So lucky, enjoy! I can't wait until mine gets here. Just out of curiosity, what was your scheduled delivery date on UPS? Was it the 2nd October like the majority of ours is who's phones made the first flight out of China?

My phone is broken and has been close to broken for 6 months so I need this phone.. But it haven't been a single delivery (online orders) of these phones (and 32GB Silver?).. Just feels kind of ****** since US and Australia has had them.

It was scheduled for October 1st, but arrived this morning around 11am :)

Someone reported earlier that UPS had taken on extra staff to cope with the demand around launch day, but of course they were not needed as there were no pre-orders for the 5s launch:rolleyes:

Surely it would be better to get some over here for delivery tomorrow to spread the demand? UPS - if you are listening - I will volunteer to get mine tomorrow:D

If they called on additional staff for launch day, then they'll do the same on Wednesday I guess. Also, it looks like other shipments might catch up with ours and that might be why they're held in Colgne so that all can be shipped across together. It won't just be delivery staff, remember. There will probably need to be additional truck movements from the import hub to the local depots, which is why it would make sense to combine other shipments to make better use of resources.

Got my silver 5S via UPS this morning. That was some quick delivery from China at the weekend.

My 5S 16GB is flying :D
