Quite worried to hear that people haven't been charged.

My balance seems to be low enough that the phone has come out, yet it's not appeared. Why couldn't they just charge me immediately? Now I'm terrified I'll be charged now, and paranoid I've been charged twice and it'll only appear once.

It's not really on to charge you weeks and weeks later.

Is there any chance the transaction has gone through and everything but it's yet to appear on my statement? There don't seem to be any pending transactions.

Mine looks like this......

No expected delivery date though, like I can see on other people's tracking. Got the same departure scan time though :)

Could that delivery be earlier?

Don't know if i get you? But i don't think the delivery can be earlier. As UPS doesn't deliver on weekends.

But doesn't matter, when it arrives, it doesn't arrives in my hands, it arrives to my Borderlinx-adress first

Here's my Current status, should be here by this Friday, sitting in Cologne at the moment.
Wondering if anyone knows when the UPS flight to the UK for this batch is.

I'm wondering the same thing, can't see any info about it apart from a post a while back about UPS having 3 flights a day midweek - not sure if they're all to the UK though.

Also, as someone else pointed out earlier, it's common for them to use spare capacity on passenger planes for freight so it'll be hard to track...

isnt this the one all of our phones are on that show departure scan?

21:30 EK 9881 Dubai Emirates airline
Dep 21:30

Destination is Dubai and previously people have said their phones came to UK via Dubai, and surely departure scan means they have departed HK, or does that mean they departed the warehouse?

I think they mean left the warehouse/factory....

My UPS tracker also stating 7 October by end of day :D

UPS have their own so not likely to use Emirates... There was a UPS flight to Anchorage at 19.14 (Dep 20.10) so it could have been on that. Ours (delivery Fri group) went via Anchorage, Alaska to Cologne...

if the phones come via cologne then they WONT move before friday. because thursday is a very important holiday in germany. shame that, but yeah monday seems to be more than correct for our deliveries. here at my work we expect ups deliveries for monday as well and they get shipped on friday via ups from shenzhen!

Just created a UPS account to keep track of my iPhone dispatched today, and from there you can get the proper UPS Tracking code which does now work. Using that, UPS are quoting delivery on Monday 7th October, rather than 9th which had been quoted earlier!

Good work!

I've lost count as to how many CPW and Three stores I've been to around the Manchester area and all flatly refuse.

I'll be happy if my online order turns up tomorrow and I can unlock it by the weekend. It's been a really poor buying experience all-round given the scalpels, stock shortages and arbitrary selling decisions by other retailers.

Ha, thanks! It took me two trips to the same Three store, and I only got it because I happened to speak to the store manager this morning and went in with "I was told yesterday that you won't sell me a PAYG 5s yesterday, and I did some research but couldn't find a reason for this?". It was very direct, but I had nothing to lose. I wanted one.

He was good about it. He said that back orders of the 16GB mean they can't sell PAYG right now, but they can sell 32 or 64GB in any colour (although they only had grey left today). Works for me – my choice of weapon is the 32GB (safer/easier than 16GB!) Space Grey (I'm not "hip/outgoing" enough for gold!). He gave me a free SIM replacement (normally £5), and has walked me through the unlock process. Can't complain, he was a friendly chap – particularly on my second visit when I was spending money in his store. ;)

The staff were actually pretty good – joking around about me not trusting them because I was asking so many questions and double-checking everything. With that kind of money, one should be cautious though, right?!

Hope you manage to get your iPhone soon. I for one am so looking forward to ditching this Samsung S3 that's on my desk right now. My Nano SIM has moved across (happened within 2 minutes of them initiating it), but they gave me an adapter to get me through the day in my S3.

I have opened my box and given the phone a very close once-over to check for any manufacturing defects. It would have crushed me to get home to a dented edge. It is absolutely, almost impossibly, perfect. Looks like they've fixed the manufacturing quality problems since the iPhone 5. Still to turn it on yet, but that's for this evening!

Are you looking for a silver or gold? Shops seem to only have grey – think Apple were expecting these to be the most popular, perhaps?

Woohoooo!!

2 days to get to the UK and be delivered would be very very optimistic! Only chance to get it before Monday is if it arrives at the depot Friday you could try taking ID and collecting..!? I did that before with an Apple TV.

I'm stuck now, I'm going to be in London from now till Friday but Northampton till Tuesday, I don't know whether to get the address changed or chance collection from London! (Hmm, scratches beard :/)

sure seems like it, since we didn't seem to have made the flight at 19:40 (12:40 uk time) :(

So when is our flight?...

I had an amazon kindle delivered to me in less than 24 hours, with no special next day delivery or anything on it. So it could be possible.

Yeah, good point, and I immediately thought cheeky b*ggers when the subtotal appeared. I guess they are making their money somehow.

Incidentally, I also tried calling them to ask why my second order was rejected (same card holder, address etc), and ended up listening to ColdPlay for 25 minutes before my call was abruptly disconnected. 0870 number for maximum revenue generation on the back of the 'amazing new iPhone'.

Use saynoto0870.com to find a geographical alternative. I can't remember the last time I had to call 0870/1, 0844/5 number etc.

You also asked for a personal message, that normally causes even more of a delay.

I have a personal message on mine and it hasn't caused a delay (dispatched today).
