No problem! I have not got any issue with my phone but as I said in my previous post maybe its software related and only affecting a few users? How iOS7 handles M7 data? Possibly but I'm not sure :)

okie that sounds good. can you please share you production week and all?

Just checked and they don't do saturday delivery which is kinda annoying, looks like monday is the day to look forward too!

No, because Apple don't pay for it.

Here's a thought... if the depot was fairly nearby and the phones land there say tomorrow afternoon because of customs or whatever, would we be able to go and pick them up say later on the friday or saturday....?

Usually most Couriers won't allow this until a 1st attempt has been made or you have a card. I believe some people have claimed on here they have managed it before with UPS deliveries from Apple.

My silver 64GB arrived today, I didn't actually expect it to arrive this fast after the beginning of the journey seemed odd with going to the same places twice etc.
This was an upgrade from a 4S, and it is a joy!!!
Good luck to all of you, and I hope yours arrive soon too!!!!

So mine, which went to PREPARING TO DISPATCH about noon UK time, and is still there now, might be dispatched and fly out when? Tonight or tomorrow afternoon UK time?

I think mine changed to preparing to dispatch about 4pm Friday and had left Hong Kong by the morning (our time). I got my phone Tues (UPS estimated Weds) so you should get it Monday.

I'll be giving them a call to ask because there won't be anyone in most of the day on Monday. Don't hold out much hope though (as per Kiretas' post).

There's a big thread on here about it. TL;DR version is that a lot of units seem to have a problem with the gyroscope so on a known level surface it reads anything up to 6 degrees off level. This affects apps like star walk (the horizon is off) and any driving games that use tilting the phone for steering.

Yeah I've checked now. I'll wait and see as I don't use that type of app and am fairly unbothered by it. From what I read, it's widespread so there's nothing much to be done until supplies improve if it's hardware related. My suspicion is though that if a software fix can't sort it, a visit to a Genius Bar for re-calibration should do the trick through a firmware fix.

Anyone know approximately what time we'll be able to tell if our phones are going to be delivered Friday?

According to Gizmodo, all sensors are off!!!
This might be enough for me to stop being over excited about the 5s and over bored about the lack of stock.
I might hold on to my 5 longer until this get's sorted on newer batches...

this time it gets into cologne at 22:30 though (21:30 uk time) and there as an outbound flight to the uk at 1:30am or so

My phone, and many more in the shipment, had two import scans. I presume that the UK phones are sorted at Cologne so that they are put on the right plane to Stansted, EMA etc.

Am not saying that it won't make the flight, just that my experience suggests it may not. Fingers crossed for you.

When you wake up on Friday you'll know. If it's still in Germany you'll have to wait I'm afraid. Planes leave Cologne about 2am but tracking can be slow to update.

After flights leave Cologne for the UK. If we get a departure scan then there's still a chance of delivery tomorrow. Not too sure about time. 1AM?

Interesting. Have previous iPhone shipments flown direct to EDI?

I seem to recall that some did, or maybe it was the ones that went to NI via there ( presumably on commercial flights). Equally, some were driven to Scotland via East Midlands/Castle Donnington. Check back to around page 170-190 which is when I think the excitement built!

If it bothers you enough, though it might take a while to fix if only a hardware fix. I can imagine Apple et al working hard for a workaround that doesn't require replacement!

All these internal devices will have software offset and calibration values. I'm sure it is just a software fix.

Seems like our flight to Cologne ( UX3 UPS3 ) Is running early and should be there at 22:08 (21:08 GMT). There may be a chance that the phones then go directly onto the flight to Stansted...
