Yes Processing to dispatch#.no have not seen it i real life just magasins and on youtube..no i didnt Call apple i dont think that would change a thing by calling a callcenter in india#

Man that's bad isn't it. It's making a mockery of the whole order process. We have to complain to Apple, this is unacceptable. If we all complain they will listen, rather than odd person.

Honestly if you can take a trip to an Apple store and see the gold in the flesh, YouTube, web sites, even Apples, don't do it justice. A lot of people have same opinion.

Just reaching for the vodka bottle ..... my status has moved to "preparing for despatch"!!

Just to remind everyone, I ordered the 32gb gold at 9.35am on 20 September.
 
Ordered 2 16gb white silver on 22nd.
it changed to preparing for dispach just 20 mins ago. since its 5am in china now... not sure if i will see any change today. im not religious but praying i wake up tomorrow and see dispached today "friday" lol

lets hope its not the bug that's been happening and goes back to processing
 
Has anyone else’s status who is stuck in the Processing>Preparing>Processing loop changed back to Preparing for dispatch?

Hopefully it’s 3rd time lucky and it WILL actually be dispatched this time…

The first time it changed I got all excited... 6 days later it changed back to Processing. :( The second time I said surely this must be it now... back to processing again. :mad: This third time... I'm not getting my hopes up.

Likewise. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to complain and ask for a case as a form of compensation… If it changes back to processing again I will definitely be complaining.

I most certainly will complain. But I think it's best just to wait for the dispatch E-Mail now instead of referring to Apple's incompetent order status site.

Ordered the 5s gold 64gb on 20th at 9pm. Just changed to preparing for dispatch. Hopefully won't change back! This is ridiculous! They've taken my money too.

Just out of interest, when did they take your money? Also, does the UPS method of typing your order number into the track by reference part of the site work for you?

I think people who ordered online between 9am-12pm (Gold 16, 32, 64gb) will be shifted during this week. My cousin who is an ex-Foxconn employee said that production is high in gold at the moment and they are prepping for the international launch on the 25th meaning that they are reserving stock for that and not online orders.

In a matter of a couple of hours, my status has now changed to "preparing for dispatch"

I actually just checked my online account an hour ago and I can see that my available balance is lower by 700 quid. So the money has gone but won't show up on my statement until tomorrow? I'll check the UPS
 
Grey 64Gb, ordered 21st PM, just gone to preparing for dispatch. False start? Time will tell... Hopefully we're finally seeing some movement!

Edit: charge is pending on my card, maybe this is real!

Just walk into a carrier shop, buy a PAYG 5s, and request an unlock immediately.

I walked into a Three store and bought mine over a week ago now – it's been unlocked since Monday after completing my unlock request on Sunday.
 
Just saw in the news that foxcon in China was hiring students to work. And the jobs they applied werent the jobs they actually were going to do. They needed people to work in assembly of devices for PlayStation. That got me thinking. At the moment foxcon is assembling alo iphones, playstations 4. And xboxes... Lol thats the cause of this delay

You do realise Foxconn has somewhere around 30 factories around the world?

The iPhone alone uses 2 or 3 factories for production, Playstation will be in a totally separate factory.
