My replacement which shipped on Wednesday is now in Germany with expected delivery Monday. Once I get it I will contact TNT to arrange return of the defective original.
FlexPen- I was told the same information on Monday but called them back the next day to clarify whether I could keep the original for now. Was told yes and then later that day it went to preparing for dispatch. I don't know whether the replacement was originally set up this way by the American lady I spoke to or whether something was changed on Tuesday. Does your replacement appear on the order status.
Scottish, thanks for the update. My order shows as processing but it has a delivers by date. I don't expect it to change until they get my original back. I wish I'd had the foresight to say I'd keep it till the new one arrives, but you live and learn.
It's not so much getting a refurb model (if that's the case) more that I don't have lightning cables and a charger to charge it with if I do get a white box only. Part of the cost price is packaging and the accessories, all of which I no longer have! I'd like to think returning the phone after 1 day gets me a new retail unit. Have to wait and see. Will be interesting to see how your replacement arrives - white box only or full new retail.
