My Replacement is finally "preparing for dispatch"
I'm mainly pissed off because others who asked for a replacement on the same day as me have already had theirs. Basically customers who kept their broken phone were given priority over ones who returned theirs first. An apple rep admitted to me today that this is what they should have done with mine (the rest had denied this). From my point of view if this ever happens again, I will refuse to send back any defective products until a replacement is delivered; I would have done this in the first place had I known. Apple sent me a survey asking for my customer experience today, and I had my own little victory by posting back a very negative response
As much as I love always having the latest iPhone on release date, I think this is the first and only time I will order a new iPhone which doesn't offer pre-ordering. It's honestly not worth the aggro. This is the first iPhone I didn't have on release day (except for the 3GS which I didnt buy), and it's not here a month later. Unfortunately I think this will be the new normal with apple offering to even more markets on the same date.
