Looks like you'll be getting the phone way before your estimated delivery date then

The week 41 units are still off. It's a software thing.
I ordered on the 25th (Space Grey 16G) and still have received no delivery dates. Was told last Friday on the phone to Apple that (1) the dispatch processes work on a strict first come, first served basis; and (2) my status should update in 'a couple of days'. No such luck.
Getting incredibly frustrated with this now.![]()
u know its software how exactly?
Read the thread about it.
Plus, if it was hardware they would have fixed it by now rather than sending out millions more faulty units.
Plus plus. The data thrown out by the sensors is nothing without the software to interpret it. If it's wrong, you just need the software to interpret it differently.

I feel you buddy, atleast you don't have the 4th November date for delivery though. That's some consolation
Yes, although I didn't order mine through Apple, I ordered through EE. I've got a couple of Friends who ordered through EE also around the same time and they received theirs last week :O

It's definitely easier to buy a carrier locked model than a factory unlocked phone direct from Apple.
Having unlocked has a lot of advantages though.
I've been on the same network for about 15 years, and don't plan on changing, so having an unlocked phone is no advantage to me
Does anyone know if the stores are receiving a better supply of stock now - and if so, are they still selling in bulk to the 'exporters' or are genuine customers now able to purchase the phones?
