Just saw, was looking for Silver/Gold. I think i'll live with my 4S for another week maybe (with a broken screen)

Was looking for gold myself, but luckily i managed to snag a silver 32gb before they went out of stock. Not much of a fan of the black version.

Hm

They have 32GB Silver in stock, not sure if I need 32GB though (Not a gamer - business usually)

Hi all,

Ordered off Apple originally at 12.01 this morning with AppleCare and have now cancelled and ordered through CPW, just got 2 questions that I hope you can help me with please

1. I ordered at 4.11 and have the confirmation email, am I correct to assume it will arrive tomorrow from CPW?

2. Can I transfer the AppleCare to the new phone?

Thanks guys! Been following this thread like a hawk all day and night

Considering that USA online orders opened at "1 - 3 days" and ours started at 7 - 10, I'm not so confident now that I'll have my 5S before October...

Not sure why people are suprised the cpw phones lock. It's right there on the product page

It's caught a lot of people because they describe it as simfree.

The disclaimer about locking used to be right at the bottom of the page, where most people don't read, it is slightly more obvious now.

I would doubt it, the original delivery date at 00:01 last night was the 7th-10th October, it can only get worse than that, not better, as stick diminishes.

Anyone here can vouch for a carrier thats easy to work with that is able to unlock?

Don't mind getting PAYG Sim and topping up £5 or something + £15-20 unlock

Otherwise:

I use Virgin Mobile, does any know what carrier it will lock onto if it i use it? (Tmobile/Orange? Since they use their networks)

Cancelled my Apple order. Went with CPW. Got the order in at 5.05pm. AR$E! No Saturday delivery for me.

Same here :(

I called and the guy on the phone was well stuttering with half ass answers like "Yes it says its in stock but we've had over 5000 orders and they will be prioritised so it's not guaranteed"

O2, if they allow unlocking, it's easy as filling out a web form after making a few outgoing calls. They didn't allow iPhone 5 unlocking for about 3 months though when it launched last year.

Virgin/T-Mobile/Orange/EE would be the virgin sim lock, and probably the hardest to get unlocked if you don't have a contract or established PAYG sim and then use the phone for 6 months on the network.

Orange are the hardest to unlock and charge you £25 for the pleasure - but you can use an EE/T-Mob/Orange. Even though Virgin uses the network, don't think you can use a V sim in an Orange phone without unlocking. O2 will unlock for free I think.

Trafford centre still has a few space grey 64gb in stock!! Just walked straight in and picked mine up about 3 mins ago :D now to work out how to cancel the online order

Virgin sim will work in an Orange locked phone, I have an Orange locked iPhone 4 in front of me now with a Virgin sim working in it.

O2 will charge £15 to unlock unless you have a contract with them.

I've just talked on Live Chat (@O2)
Jill: I'm sorry, are you referring to iPhone 5s?
Jill: As of now we don't have information about unlocking for it.
Jill: iPhone 5s as of now can't be unlocked on Pay & Go.

I don't intend to move away from Virgin Mobile (as a customer for 15+ yrs of Virgin Media/NTL) and a £5/mo 1GB Internet, 200mins / unlim texts. So may just go straight on to it

Anyone who has ordered via CPWH receive a dispatch notification and able to track.

Using my order number in the DPD track website says no such parcel.

I ordered mine within 15-30 seconds of the site being up. Let's be honest, barely any 5'S were in the country and the UK started out with 7-10 days.
