UK iPhone 5s and 5c Thread

Same here my case is showing as preparing for despatch and the amount is pending against my credit card.

I also see that the beige case which I ordered is now showing 1-2 week dispatch time. All the rest (except RED)
are 1-3 days.

Guys Have i made a big mistake ? I just ordered a 5s on my mums EE contact with the intention of giving here my 5 and having the 5s for myself. the problem is I'm on o2 ? if i the o2 card in straight away without putting the orange sim in will it work ?

Nope. EE phones are locked and won't take O2 sims. They also won't unlock the phone for 6 months.
 
More like 7 months, 6 months before they will even accept the request and then another 28 days to actually process it. I know of someone (posted on MoneySavingExpert) who actually waited 45 days for the actual unlock to the processed by them.

As its 28 working days so thats about 6 weeks.

O2 are apparantly quite good at unlocking (although they wont unlock new iphones for about 6 months to try and stop people flipping them on eBay).

EE on the other hand I have personal experience in. They will make you wait the full 28 working days to the last second before unlocking. Each time you phone up to chase they will tell you they sent it to apple and its them delaying it. Which is rubbish as Apple unlock within minutes of getting a request. They do it as they know they can probably get another 2 months line rental. (as they always assume you are unlocking to leave and not go abroad).

I ordered my 16gb grey from CPW online at 4.30pm, apart from the initial confirmation email I havent received anything confirming the order has gone through. When did others receive further emails? Also I didn't specify Saturday delivery as I can't recall seeing that option, did other request Saturday delivery? Can I expect delivery on Saturday?
 
Been waiting all day for Three to activate my new nano sim as I upgraded to a 5S.

They say it should be within 24hrs but it's never taken this long before :( guess it's a busy day for them!

They were in stock at 5pm when I ordered mine, so I'd imagine you'll be fine. I got a confirmation email, but when I phoned, had been told my card had been declined (bank flagged it as fraud).

Check your internet banking to see if funds have been taken (From your available balance).

I received a text from CPWH about an hour ago saying thanks for order, it's processing and will be dispatched soon for delivery on 21st. DPD tracking number still not working (saying not valid) so guessing it hasn't been picked up yet.

Will be very impressed with the next day delivery if they pick it up this late and get it delivered tomorrow.

Saturday delivery was standard on iPhone deliveries, I had the order confirmation email at 09.23 then a confirmation text at 17.00

You can track your order by entering your order number on the carphone warehouse/talk mobile order tracker. Link below, throws a up a invalid certificate warning, but its fine.

Tracking mine on that link states

"Your order has been dispatched. Your order should arrive on Mon, 23 Sep 2013."

The text said it would be delivered tomorrow. :)
 
Mine also says Monday delivery, but I think carphone warehouse usual standard delivery doesn't include weekends, so the tracker is a bit off. I wouldn't worry, it'll definitely be here tomorrow.
 
Are any of your DPD tracking numbers showing anything yet?

Mine says "Validation Error - xxxx is not a valid parcel numbers, pleas amend.".

Mine says "parcel - saturday delivery We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly"

Thanks. Mine says: "Sorry, there are no details of this transaction in our system. If this order was made via the web, we have not yet started processing it."

I had a call from my bank immediately when I placed the order and confirmed it wasn't fraud and its showing as pending on my banks website. Guess it'll probably be Monday now
 
Does anyone know who will be delivering iPhones ordered direct from apple? I ordered at 0001 and got a 7-10 day dispatch. Can't guarantee I will be in as may be at work.

I called for the order not online. Do i get one? Im not sure if they got my email right,,, maybe...
 
CPWH orders

If you go to DPD mobile site on your phone and track your item, mine says 'scanned by DPD' a few hours ago.

It doesn't say this on the standard website. Anyone else's showing this?

Got my tracking number working. I put an extra digit on the end by mistake. Oops.
