Manchester Arndale now has some stock. Got my ticket and standing outside waiting for the store to open at 9.

Every scalper in Glasgow must have read your post because this queue's 10x bigger than it has been the last few days, and it's full of people who you might say are not your usual Apple fanboys.

The same security staff that were here on launch day are standing outside so I'm guessing they've got stock.

Is anyone buying anything else when they go to the apple store or do they just get the phone and leave?

I feel like Tim Cook's policy really is the worst one when they have UK stock and don't do online orders.

They have a new retail chief who has seriously missed the mark and put profits before the famous apple core values.

If you talking about the guy they took from Dixons then he was fired (putting profits before customer service and staff morale) and as far as I am aware they have not yet replaced him yet

I doubt they're monitoring the forum. They've likely got their own spotters and network. If we let them stop us from tipping off other forum members, then they've won.

I'm at bluewater apple shop now. About 20 people in the queue. Shop opens at 10.00 am so I'll let everyone know about iPhone 5s stock.

Brighton, Churchill Square, has stock of the 5s. Estimate between 5-20 of each model, from looking at the size of the card stacks. About 10 people queuing as I left with a 64GB space grey.

Hello, just got my ticket from apple staff from bluewater store.
They have some iPhone 5s's in stock but no Gold versions

So is this an England-only thing or are stores in Scotland and Wales experiencing the same thing?

They have it in stock in Regent Street, but when I got to the queue, although they guaranteed some models (no gold though, for those interested), we were told that the we could be waiting for around hour and a half to get the phone :( Sadly that was too much for me since I work :(

So I guess I'll have to patiently wait for the online order. It is a bit annoying that they server everyone in the world before the UK (and I guess some other countries) online store...

Do you know if they have/had any gold's available at the Arndale today? I've already ordered one online but if I can buy from a store earlier I'll cancel my online order

I think you need to get some perspective, the UK is in the first 9 countries to get the iPhone on launch, Apple are hardly "serving everyone in the world before the UK".

Imagine how customers in the next 91 countries who are still waiting for their first batch of phones sometime before the end of the year feel?
