I'm in the queue outside Bluewater store with a ticket confirming I've got a 32GB Silver 5s! No gold at all. They've still got everything else though.

That was fun. Back at work with a 32GB Grey in hand. Was nice to meet Big Ells. Anyone else see me? I do stand out a bit wheeling a blue Brompton bike through the store. :)

More civilised than I expected with no queue jumping. The store assistant seemed genuinely happy to serve someone buying for themselves. Shame about the scalpers but good to see attempts were being made to remove them from the line. Sad to see them waiting across the street ready to try again though.

Got a ticket for space grey 16gb in Leeds. 6 people in queue ahead of me. Have been told they have good stock of all GB's except gold

I watched a older gentle man hand out wads of £50's to a few guys and girls. ought I might go up to him and try my luck :p

You did look the most 'propper' with your folded up Brompton bike, very suave.

Anyone in Regent's Street? whats the situation. One of the downsides of living in London is ALL the Apple stores are popular so walking in and picking one up is usually impossible.

Load of scalpers just got chucked out of the queue at Bluewater! They'd already bought 2 each today and rejoined back of queue to try and buy more. Apple staff said only 2 per customer per day and threw them out.

Yep, unfortunate. =/

Tried calling White City, massive phone queue so gave up.

Glasgow stores sold out, tried my luck at Buchanan street since it was closer, due to work I couldn't get there till 10:30, said they sold out at 10 :(

Phoned Braehead after and they confirmed out of stock as user above posted

Chances of there being any stock left at lunch time?
Unless you want a Space Grey 32GB or 16GB, I'd say very little. I had one of the last Space Gray 64GB's (no silver or gold available at all). Loads of Space Gray 32Gb/16GB and a few Silver 32GB when I left. Scalpers have probably snapped them up though. :(

All tickets gone at Braehead, dam it just too slow. Back to wait in for O2 order it is!

Unlucky mate, I'm sitting upstairs in Starbucks setting up my 5s. Must have been 99% Asian scalpers in the queue with one older guy going back and forth between groups and organising them. Only two genuine folk I could see who were actually buying for their own use.

Just a small note

Called Apple (Ireland) this morning and he let slip during the conversation that Online orders will be preparing for shipment in a few days

No idea of this 100% genuine but I hope it is lol :)

I'm too impatient for a few days lol:p

Just back from the Glasgow Buchanan Street store, and the queue was absolutely shameful. It was full of guys with envelopes full of £50 notes, along with their wives (and kids in some cases) presumably to maximise the number of iPhones they could get. When they announced the 16GB models were sold out one guy went through the queue handing out £50 notes to certain people so they could buy 32GB and 64GB models.

There were only four people infront of me to get into the shop when they announced they were out of 32GB models. I stayed anyway, got put through to the inside queue and then a fight broke out! They were letting people into the Apple Store freely for non-iPhone purchases and some kid went in then tried to join the back of the inside iPhone queue and started fighting with the security guy when he was told to leave. The people in front of me decided to leave at that point, I guess maybe they knew the kid who was in trouble, which allowed me to pick up the last 32GB phone they had in stock :D

Props to the staff and security people though. They did a good job getting rid of queue jumpers and such.

It's getting beyond ridiculous now all this scalping. Apple have really got to sort this out, but over here it's probably some stupid EU law preventing them from only selling to genuine people. Still 4 Asian guys ahead of me in the queue, all of them buying 2 phones each.
