Just realised I have a micro sim in my iPhone 5, will it be the same for the 6 or will I need a new sim card from O2?

Glad I saw your post! My current sim holds a micro sim... and somehow thought the iphone 6 was the same.

Just ordered a nano sim! Thanks!

Be careful, its not actually unlimited (well it is but not how you expect). Once you use 3.5GB in a month they reduce your speed until the next month. Tethering is also not allowed in the terms and conditions.

One thing Three UK are good for is holding up their promise that unlimited data means unlimited. Im on the One Plan from last year and I won't be giving that up without a fight. I get unlimited tethering with that. The plan this year is unlimited data but you are only allowed to use 4 GB over tethering.

I work away from home just now and being put up in a hotel during the week. WiFi is horrendous in most hotels. I tether and last month (ending 8th Sept) I used 47.5 GB in one cycle with Now TV and Netflix HD streaming.

Three mean unlimited. I wasn't slowed down or told to cut back. The month before I used 36 GB.

Judging by these talks of tethering maybe I will stay with o2 then.

I get 2GB which I can tether all of it. I also use unlimited data abroad for £2 -a-day which is useful as I travel a lot. May keep my plan as I have it now rolling or move to simplicity if I get the same deal.

Guys, may I ask if anyone has found a good skin for Phone 6? I don't want to stick my phone in a case if I can help it and am unsure of the quality of some showing on eBay.

Really grateful of any help offered

The plot thickens... Well, my story does haha :p

So after running around in circles with Vodafone, I've had enough. They had me for a total of 18 hours before they p:apple::apple:d me off enough for me to cancel my - no less than 3 messed up - orders and look elsewhere. Correction: I haven't actually been able to cancel them yet because they can't find any of my details

I've decided to stay with 3. I spoke with a very helpful guy on the phone who offered me unlimited data/text, 200 mins and 3000 3 mins per month for £15. I'm going to bump up the cost of the phone outright and trade in my old one with apple for hopefully the £190 they've offered (Unless anyone thinks I could do better with a 16GB 5?)

It may have taken me 24 hours of hell with another company to realise, but I never had a problem with 3, and with this new deal I only have to give 1 months notice to change and the security of not being tied in at £50+ for the next 2 years will hopefully take some of the sour taste of that £619 charge go out my account very soon.

Now I just have to wait 3-4 weeks for it to come

I think it's heavy users that have caused the policy change sadly. (Not saying there is anything wrong with your usage mind you, I mean as you said it's truly unlimited). I think Three oversold what they could actually provide so now they've had to increase prices and cut back on the unlimited tethering.

CEX always find something to make it not qualify for the top price bracket I find.

Ah cool thanks for all the replies. Thought I had micro for some reason. I'll just swap it out when it arrives then.

Still not sure whether to stick with o2 on sim-only or move on. GiffGaff do unlimited data for £12 a month.

Yeah as the above guy said, GiffGaf are changing it to 3GB data for £12, 5GB data for £15 (or unltd data for existing customers), unlimited data at £18 a month now.

Three is your best option. £15 unlimited data, unlimited texts, 4GB tethering allowance and 200 mins

I glad I upgraded to the ONE PLAN SIM ONLY this May
The last few months I have been using around 500gb not even one word from Three only paying £20 each month bargain plan ever.

O2 shops now have date of 7/10/14 for most iPhone 6s.

Pre-ordered ours this morning.

2 x 64Gb White/Silver iPhone 6s ordered for expected delivery of 7th October.

yh i would dodge cex like the plague, its a terrible store. They will rob you of your phone; there is no such thing as a grade A used device, they will find any excuse to give the minimum price.

It would be amusing to take a straight out of the box iPhone and hear them tell you something is wrong with it though :p

See the thing is, I have a great condition phone but I'm missing the charger. I have a lead, just not the wall plug. They surely can't downgrade the price to their lowest bracket for that? I could always give the charger from my iPhone 6 anyway.

The minimum price is for a cracked screen phone!

Got my serial number iphone 6+16gb week 36 september 2014. Exciting

Also noticed its updated to preparing for shipment

Leads me on nicely to my question. I've found my serial number - how exactly do I work out the week it was made? Thanks in advance :)

O2 have been more reliable than TMobile that I was on before and I get Priority moments that I use every week for money off eating out, cinema and coffee. I think in 2 years the service has gone down twice and only for a few hours at a time. It wasn't a massive inconvenience. I thought about going with EE but my friends warned me off as they have had bill increase after bill increase and the online service is way off O2's.

On the whole I've had a good experience with them. I upgraded to an iPhone 6 64GB silver yesterday for £33 a month and the nearest any other provider could get was £38 and paying more for the phone.

How much did you pay for the phone?

Did an o2 Refresh today, and will stick with them until I pay the phone off. My main issue with going to Three is their apparent poor service in central London where I will be working

It was £229 for the phone and my tariff has gone up 6 quid as they wouldn't honour my old tariff on iPhones sadly. It was still cheaper than other places I'd looked :)
