I got my serial number for the iphone6. How do I know which week was it manufactured.do I have to interpret the number in some way. It starts with C38....

I can't seem to find anything on the leadership plan details. Right now I was looking at the 38.99/month contract with 10gb internet unlimited mins texts, with an iPhone 6plus for £280. But your deal seems better with the more internet allowance.

The contract to buy on EE. You add the shared plan at £12 pm in the basket as an addon

It was an option on the reservation page. It said with carrier tarrif. I double checked in store and they confirmed. I have reserved in mk just incase my three order doesn't come through in time.

Really, I didn't notice that, only pay as you go sim offer.

Excellent, just this minute received email. Phew! And despite definitely selecting silver it's confirmed as grey. Hey ho, good job I'm not fussed.

And delivery estimated 19th. We'll see... :):apple:

If you have proof you have ordered silver, show it to them when you go to collect maybe?

If you have ordered iPhone 6 like I have, it seems likely you will get it on Friday 19th. It's the Plus that appears to be limited.

Mine is scheduled for pick up from an 02 store on the 19th.

Spoke to someone on chat, said they can't give an exact date, I will get it within 8 days off the 19th but no dates can be confirmed yet. So it could be the 19th but certainly within 8 days of it if not.

Since my receipts say scheduled for pick up on the 19th (we'll let you know when it's ready) and the 02 rep said I was only the 3rd person to pre-order in store I'm assuming so far I should be able to pick it up on the 19th.

No way for me to track my phone unlike others.

6 or 6 plus ?

I'm now quite chuffed that threes new tariffs are so high.

I now get to pickup my apple sim free on release day at a time I choose (no waiting for delivery).

I get to keep my super £12.90 plan with all you can eat data. I was all set to go for a 24 month contract but they are just too high..

Anyone else gone for store pickup? Lots of chatter about deliveries.

They even still have most models in stock for pickup (no plus, they went instantly).

Was store pickup on option for anyone that did a pre-order? I thought that was only in the USA?

Preorder Pickup in store UK

The store pickup for the UK was on a different web page. No payment required, the page however would not load for most of the time. I ended up preordering as it was the first method available to me.

Ordered mine at 08:25 and still says 19th for delivery, but still processing.

Should I be worried?

My status literally changed from still processing to ready to Preparing for Dispatch an hour ago. So your one won't be far behind :)

I ordered at 8.40am with an estimate delivery date of 19th Sept.

Well, that was easier than expected. Called Three, cancelled my existing contract and signed up for sim only at £10 per month for 2GB data.

Buying direct from Apple and sim only will work out at £35 per month over the 2 years, opposed to £50 per month for the exact same deal on contract!

Does anyone think the other carriers like vodafone will get volte on iPhones this year? Or will it be like the iphone 5 where only one provider had 4g and to get 4g you needed the 5s (or the carrier).

VoLTE is only in partnership with EE in the UK at the mo (according to the i6 Keynote anyway).

I couldn't get the app to open until after 9 on Friday (still said "We'll be back) and then when I did get on ALL models, 6 and 6plus were sold out. I did eventually place an order. It says delivery 29the Sept to 2nd October. Is there any chance this will be revised?

Doing exactly the same as you except I changed from £10 to £15 plan which includes ultd data + 4GB tethering. I don't think 2GB would be enough when I am planning to tether as well.

I thought all iPhone for sale from Apple were off contract?

No, you can do a contract connection in Apple, they even have a separate place for contract signers to queue on launch day.

There is no "partnership", it's just that EE will be launching VoLTE first in the UK, any of the other networks could launch it soon as well (Three is rumoured to be close behind EE for VoLTE launch).

It isn't an Apple feature, lots of other 4G phones, like most LTE Samsung's are also able to use VoLTE.
