Weird...

My Wife's i6 showed up earlier in My Support Profile and showed a build date of September 2014.

Mine has now appeared to, but when I click on it (or my Wife's now), I get this:

Thats probably about as good as it gets on a contract. You are paying for the phone plus £20/month for the data and minutes.

Yes sure. So it's £20 for 10GB 4G with free mins & texts. I may queue up on the 19th and then get £15 Three's Sim only. Haven't decided yet...

Where have you got this from?

Google > Best iPhone 6 Plus deal > Uswitch > Phones.co.uk

I'll give them a call on Monday to ask about availability (probably 3-4 weeks) and number porting...

He's talking rubbish. Although I do like the idea of plant pot stowaways.

I finally ordered my iPhone 6 at 9.43am, using the Apple App and I have delivery date of 19/09. It even went to Preparing for Dispatch yesterday. I later reserved a 2nd iPhone 6 for store collection for 19/09 and this was confirmed at about 2pm.

Unless he was speaking of a specific config then he is talking nonsense.

He's not talking rubbish, there was people camping in the car park and trying to hide inside. They had to get security in to patrol at night, there was a lot of them.

Around 30 - 40 of them in the queue with one guy going up and down passing money between them all and telling them which models to purchase, it was ridiculous.

In store reservations

Does anyone know how the reservation system works for launch day?

I've got an email confirmation for my reservation but there is no reference number on the email at all. Do I just turn up and show them the email to prove I have a reservation and do they get physically allocated to people in the back of the store before they open?

I imagine Friday is going to be a crazy day so whats stopping people just turning up saying they have a reservation?

iPhone 6 16GB Space Grey

Using Three SIM only @ £15 per month:

Unlimited texts
Unlimited data
4GB tethering allowance
2000 3-to-3 minutes (Three added this in for me, not part of deal)
200 any UK mins

Which deal are you referring to for £15?

If it's the One Plan, with Unlimited data and tethering, it doesn't exist anymore-it's £18 for "All you can eat" minutes and data, with a 4GB tethering allowance.

lol,
Well the plan was to get both to compare and then return one, since Im around 40miles away from the closest Apple store!
However, if my 6+ comes 30th Sept, Im getting too close to the 14 day mark for comfort!

If I could guarantee that I could sell the iPhone 6 - even at normal price as Im not too fussed on a little profit etc - then I'd just let someone else have it as I won't be even switching it on unless Im keeping it to be honest.

My plan exactly! Luckily I've got the 6 and 6+ both coming on the 19th. I will play with and compare both and send one back. Kinda thinking I'll keep the 6, but we'll see.

If I were you I'd still be tempted to turn the 6 on when you get it;)

As far as I've seen with other peoples comments in various threads they've all selected a pickup time, so I'd call Apple and confirm

Link doesn't work for me. I don't really understand the difference between payg and pay monthly - this sim seems to give 300 mins (more than I'll need) and unlimited data (more than I'll need) for £15 per month. The deal through three is for 200 mins voice, so the apple deal seems better.

I was going to switch my dad to three today but virgin mobile offered £5 for unlimited data and 1200 mins so he stays with them ;)

The email says to take photo ID. I'm hoping that they have a list of who should be in that hour slot and you have to prove who you are, then in you go and pick up your booked phone.

Wishful thinking perhaps?

Payg - once you use your allowance up that's it until you top up

Monthly - traditional contract where pay the additional out of allowance charges you might incur. Bonus of only having a 1 month contract so u can more around if it pleases you

The one on the Apple Store pre order page.

Difference between that and Pay Monthly version (200 mins) is:

1. The pay monthly is treated like a contract. It bills you automatically every month. No top ups and the likes.
2. The pay monthly version offers 4GB of Personal Hotspot

Just got my serial number for my 6+ 128gb silver :)

Is it acceptable to open a phone and then return it? I've got a 6 and a 6+ due one the 19th, as I couldn't decide what size to go for.

I've previously ordered multiple colours, and returned one, but never actually opened the unwanted one at all. Was always wary of them refusing the return for some reason.

Also 4G on three for free - I was getting 47mb download on three 4g sitting at the leisure centre a while back

Yup. 14 days to let apple know your intention to return. That 14 days start from day of delivery.

Is there any difference between different factories?

What SIM only deals are you folks on? Don't really care for mins/data.
The entry price is £7...
http://www.uswitch.com/mobiles/compare/sim_only_deals/
(You may need to switch to 'sorted by monthly cost')

Half the house is on GiffGaff; being non-contract you can change your price plan according to your anticipated requirements. There are a couple of changes coming up, though:
a) (the good) you can now buy a new 'goody bag' at any time, rather than having to move onto a PAYG tariff until your month is up
b) (the bad) price rises / data allowance reductions

Looking at the link the Virgin one month 'contract' might be a better deal, and is only £5 if you're already on Virgin broadband.

For those of you who got the 7-10 days shipping my iPhone 6 plus 64gb is still

- processing
- no serial number
- and yes I'm jealous of all of you getting yours next week

I'm going to be seeing 'processing' message for 2 more weeks.. :(

Anyone ordered a case with their phone from apple? My silicon case says it's shipping oct but I find it crazy they aren't able to manufacture enough cases.

Hopefully these start moving too next week

Sorry if this has already been posted and i missed it!!

I reserved my iPhone 6 for pick up on Friday at my local Apple Store, its for 10-11am pick up, does anyone know i can just walk in and pick it up? or if there is still a queue at that time, do i have to join it and wait?

Thank you! Really looking forward to Friday! :):p

At least you didn't get stuck with the 3-4 weeks! I'm really hoping I can bag one from an apple store at some point way before that then just cancel the order.
