Actually ordered one Friday morning showing 3-4 weeks but wondering if I could get one earlier hassle free without wasting my time queuing for nothing

On line ordering and instore reservations were 2 separate systems, there was stock for reserving to collect instore over the weekend (Friday onwards), all stock was gone early Monday morning.

Now your only option is a queue before opening time.

Do you think I can get a Plus if I go to a big Apple Store in London around 2pm on Friday? Or the stock will be very limited?

Absolutely no chance whatsoever, you might have a slight chance if you get there at 2am, rather than 2pm.

What I meant is that it was never my intention to annoy anybody or be disrespectful. But I don't have to keep explaining myself.
Again, sorry to anybody that felt annoyed by my post.

Hey laminarpanda, just ignore the BS that is going on around your post. I wasn't sure about your intentions either, but you know what, it doesn't matter one jot what I think or anyone else for that matter. You have sought to explain yourself much more than you need to - you don't need to at all. This is not a jury, even though some posters seem to think they are.

What I think is dubious, and none or the sanctimonious *******s seem to have a problem with it, is the seemingly large number of posters who appear to have ordered two phones, with the full intention of having a "play" with them and sending one back. WTF!?

Meanwhile many are waiting for 3-4 weeks or longer to get ONE phone, while spoilt little t*ssers are supposedly making up their minds.....

If anyone wants to go off on a rant, I'd start there. And yes, I have managed to reserve a phone for pick up on Friday 19th lest anyone think that my post was because I hadn't!

:cool::apple:

I've just ordered a giffgaff nano sim, I'm cheesed off with EE so change is good. If they're ok I'll stick with them, or switch to 3. I do like the one month contract thing.

Got the £18 Three SIM only contract today, tested out the 3G inside my house, on EE I got 3Mb/s and on 3 I get 10Mb/s! Can't wait to see what the 4G is like.

EE seriously charges £10 for a new sim :|

Free for me on Three, and free adaptor to use in my old phone whilst I wait for my new phone. I seriously think you and everyone else should switch to the Three network.

Yup thats what they charged me on the weekend :roll eyes:

Did ask why considering i pay £58 a month and they said its to cover the manufacturing costs lol

Tight *****. They have the nerve to charge you that and also that high monthly cost. Go with Three and be done with them.

Thats decent. Got myself the Three £15 sim only one month rolling contract. Should get it in the post tomorrow and have my number transferred on wednesday or thursday :)

Been on GiffGaff for a few years but they are getting rid of the Unlimited data. Plus done a speed test and my 3G is just over 1MB in my house which is shocking.

I would love to, in fact I was with them for a month but the network in my house was really poor. In my bedroom I would get between 0 and 1 bar, giffgaf were a bit better but their internet was too slow and that just leaves me with EE since Vodafone costs more.

I would but I'm still in contract till April and my current phone (HTC One M7) isn't worth much as its damaged so it wouldn't cover the costs of the remainder of the contract. Had to pay £4.99 for an adapter to!

Will review the networks then. But Three are looking like a good choice at the moment.

Don't you have home broadband WiFi?

Also two solutions to your low signal in your house:

1. You can ask for a "Home Signal" box from three, for free. It provides 100% signal in your home. It uses your home internet to function, so it shouldn't be a problem.

2. Three have now launched a "Three InTouch" app which allows you to call and text on WiFi with no actual signal connection to Three. It works great.

My house has bad signal too but I take advantage of the Home Signal box so I get full bars wherever I am in my house.

If you have broadband at home Three do a wifi calling app called "Three In touch" and a mini signal box. Ideal for houses with poor signal.

When are they getting rid of unlimited data? Just ordered a sim from them and they are still advertising unlimited.

Tried Giffgaff and their data speeds are truly appalling. They may be O2 but seem to get the leftovers from the O2 network - if there are any.

Oh wow, why did they not tell me about these when I was getting my PAC key... They just kept offering me lower price and not a way to boost my signal. Thanks guys, I will now look into leaving EE soon.

i honestly would bet that unless your queuing a day early at least you won't get an iPhone 6 + even in the regent St. store

For the iPhone 5S me and a mate went there at 10pm the night before launch and there was easily 1000 in front of us. we headed off to a smaller towns store (milton keynes) in the end and I grabbed the last 5S and we must of been 40 people back.

this phone launch is much much bigger. I wouldn't even bet on getting any + phones available for pickup other than reserved ones.

on a side note, I'm getting confused by all these cheap cases everywhere, I am after a £10 isn case to act as a temporary one until spigen release their nice ones.

What do i go for?

From 24th September, it will cost £18 for new customers to get unlimited data (£15 for existing customers).

It's been £12 until now...
