Think its the 24th September. They are getting rid of the unlimited data on the £12 goody bag and replacing it with 3gb. To get unlimited data you will have to pay £20 a month. The speed are really slow on GiffGaff so I would get the three £15 sim only while the offer is on (think its £3 off at the moment).

Yes, I think so. Apple's order status descriptions confirm they don't take a payment until right at the point of dispatch, so I'm expecting an email imminently, as my cash was properly debited today!! Exciting times

Did you order online or over phone? I ordered on phone and I can see my new contract plan but the phone section says there has been a problem. No phone, date or anything.
Already with 3, been with them for about 4 years now. Upgrading from my i5 contract which ran out this month! Starting to regret not buying outright from Apple and getting a 3 SIM instead!

However, everyone else on the main tracking thread say that their payment has been taken, but their orders are still preparing for dispatch.
They've also been able to track via reference for the past day or so.
From past years, when do the orders from Apple say 'Dispatched'? And are they usually updated when the actual event happens?
As you are with them already the contract start date should have any bearing on the delivery date of the phone.
I mean, I already have my current 3 SIM in my i5, I assume my number is staying the same (I've never done an 'upgrade' as such) so I dont really understand whats going on! Advisor said 3rd Oct for delivery according to 'her' screen. She completely ignored the fact I pointed out it said 19th Sept on my online account.
My iPhone 5 dispatch email came on the Wednesday at 12:55 - couldn't track anything before then.
Since i upgraded over the phone on Friday with Three the mythree section of the website shows my new contract plan. Problem is the section underneath that says my phone is an error message saying there is a problem. This is the same on both my accounts.
It looks like other peoples are showing the phone picture and contract start date along with shipment date.
Has anyone else upgraded over the phone and has the phone listed along with contract renewal date and shipping date? Maybe this is only if you have ordered online.

Im the same, don't know when its getting delivered but was told 19th on the phone when i upgraded, called back today and they cant guarantee it will be delivered on the 19th as they don't know there stock allocation
they did however say that if i was told the 19th when i did the upgrade then that should be the date i get it as i was in the first batch of pre-orders, would be good to see it on my account though for clarification!

To all those worried about orders appearing or not on the 19th. My experience of the past 5 years or so has been that Apple direct almost always deliver when they say they will.
Carphone Warehouse and individual carriers not so much, especially when it's the iPhone 6 plus or (as was the case last year) the gold iPhone 5S. I'm not sure they get many (or any!!!!!) stock of the model in short supply!
I'm also pretty sure (as it happens year on year) they know they won't actually have stock for the launch day even though they are happily selling phones on that basis. When challenged the standard response is 'we're sorry but Apple just didn't supply us with the stock we were expecting'. As long as they stick with that line we can't get them on trading standards because they can say they sold in good faith!

At this point I have no idea what to expect given the proximity to Friday. I'll be at home all day Friday anyway but I'm not too optimistic at this rate!
I've never had a iPhone delivered from anyone other then Apple so I can't comment from personal experience but I wouldn't put much stock in any information from a call centre operative.
Thanks, luckily not paid giffgaff anything yet, might just take your advice. 3 claim to have good 3G coverage where I live and work, but not 4G yet in either. Hope they get on with it!

I ordered 2x 16gb pluses half an hour after they started phone preorders. So the advisor said. This was at least 2 hours before tariffs came on line. Still have my fingers crossed.
