O2 are a comedy. I've been told I'd get my 128 silver 6 plus...
- On launch day
- 2-3 weeks after pre-order
- dispatch on release day, delivered monday
- dispatched on release day, delivered in 5-7 working days
- On october 7th

Yep in exactly the same place. i didnt get through till about 10:15 but hoping not many orders went before that given there entire system went down.

Excellent...... I was told i would get it on launch when i phoned but not confident now. Had 4 iphones from them, all onor soon after launch and never had problems like this.
Does anyone know if Apple will give tickets to who is queuing? I could queue from 6am at Regent Street, but only if they will have the model I want in stock when it's my turn
They have limited stock, getting there are late as 6am will mean its likely you will not have much choice and would have to settle on whatever is still available (if anything).
You would need to get there much earlier if you want to be sure of getting a specific colour/capacity/model.
I got through on the phone at 10am and was off it by 10:45. Got my email and spent until 14:30 trying to get the link to work and finally completed it then.
I rang yesterday and a very helpful person said I should get it either on launch if they get the phones on thursday, or on monday if they get the phones on friday.
Who knows....
hmm i didnt get through on the link till much later as i was told the phone would be held for 72 hours so there was no rush. Did you just call through to the orders CS line?

You will not get a phone if you join the queue at 6am. It'll be at least a thousand deep!
when will this freakin status change from 'preparing to dispatch' to 'dispatched'. Are they dispatching a JUMBO JET or what, what's taking so long. My order is bloody being prepared for dispatch since 12th Sep only.

Calm yourself .... i'm betting that the UK supply is either in transit to or already at Syncreon for local UK distribution
Apple has gone both ways of either distributing from UK centre or straight from China in recent years ...
If its a UK distribution then it won't go to 'Dispatched' until Thursday
I'm not too bothered about the colour, but I want a 6+ 64GB.
I was thinking to go there as soon as I can, get in line, and if they still have in stock I can wait, otherwise I go back home

.....I've always received previous iPhone pre-orders, the next day after launch day so I'm hoping it will be the same this time around.
The way I saw it was that if you did indeed manage to get through (I also didn't get through to someone on the phone until after 9:30ish - was trying from 8am!) and place your pre-order, your name would get allocated to an iPhone 6, meaning that you were pretty much guaranteed a phone on luanch day.
I guess they will dispatch them on Friday (they won't dispatch on Thursday or before in case you recieve it before the official launch on Friday) so you could receive it, Friday afternoon, Saturday or Monday depending on far down the list you are.
Ok cool, feeling slightly better. Will give them a call and see if they can offer any aditional info.
Last year's 5S delivery went to "Despatched" late on Tuesday. Then we followed the flights from Shenzhen -> Hong Kong - > Dubai / Cologne -> East Midlands.. By Thursday evening, about 9pm. Then onto UPS trucks, and they were delivered Friday morning on time. Beautifully synchronised.
So if this year follows last, then I'd expect to see Apple online orders switch to 'Despatched' later today/tonight.
It's an amazing deal. Just checked and they've already transitioned me onto it with 30m so EE app now shows I have 9gb left
Now just need them to switch on wifi calling

They've even let my do swap to it 5weeks early so don't have to pay next month's phone tariff at my old rate which is £36 or something.
