Sorry to go slightly off topic, but I've left Vodafone for a deal with EE through CPW. I have my PAC code, and in theory I'll wait for the new phone & sim to arrive, then call EE and tell them the code. Then there's several hours/days to wait, right? So I'll be continuing to use my iPhone 5 until some notification pops up on the 6 to let me know the number has been changed over?

When you tell the code to EE, they should give you a transfer date, usually the next or the following workday, so that goes pretty quickly.

I just switched from O2 to EE. Purchased Contract Saturday, Rang O2 and Requested PAC Saturday, Rung EE and gave them that, today my number switched at Lunchtime.

Tims Global trading as Spigen SGP.
If it doesn't fit, then I'll contact the seller and if they don't send out a replacement/issue a refund then I'll just submit a case to eBay/PayPal as I assume one would be covered if the item was not fit for purpose. :)

That is the same trader I have been using for a while never any problems all official gear from spigen direct

Hey again! I live in Greece and I have a friend in UK who can send me the iPohne 6.

Which courier or post office do you recommend to send it?(Fast,Cheap)

Do you think I need insurance if I send it with International Tacked & Signed by Royal Mail?

not sure about international couriers to be honest. Although id definitely insure it. this is so important because if its lost/stolen you've lost it all

EE state 'Delivery within 7 days' on their iPhone 6... is that 7 days from today, or 7 days from when they're released on Friday?

PACs can now be actioned in as little as 1 working day, although some networks will even give you a choice of what day you want the number to port.

Thanks, so it won't be long to wait until I'll be making calls from the new phone. Exciting!

PRAYING for Friday delivery. Carphone Warehouse have exceeded their reputation by keeping us all in the dark and being confusing.

I don't know about anybody else but I've been pretty much relaxed about this whole situation, granted i was able to pre-order my iP6 from Apple for this Friday, but am really not expecting shipment/delivery details until tomorrow night at the earliest.

Royal Mail and International Tracking + Insurance I would suggest.

7 days from the 19th. I remember asking that on live chat but anyway I've gone with Vodafone (changed my mind for the final time).

I'm bored, let's play who has the earliest order confirmation from Apple.

Mine:

Date: Fri, 12 Sep 2014 07:32:39 +0000 (GMT)

(so 08:32:39 summer time)

My browsers refused to show me the Apple store lol

Yeah Royal Mail won't insure it - its one of their forbidden items re sending abroad I understand. They also only track it as far as it leaving the UK.

Many int couriers do not insure mobile phones at all, but TNT offer a fully tracked and insured international service for mobile phones of significant value - it costs in the region of £50. Expect that to be the figure other couriers would quote - if again you wanted it fully insured and fully tracked. You can get cheaper services that do not offer this peace of mind obvs.

If anyone else has any other recommendations for a fully tracked and fully insured international (express) service specifically for mobile phones I would be interested to know.

That's the same business as the Amazon seller. He also trades under the name "Keep in Case" and "Spigen UK Store"

Yeah good idea. Let me know if yours fits and I'll do the same ;)

Here's an image of the fitment which the seller has recently uploaded on to the Amazon listing

Thanks for that. Yeah, judging from the actual protector, it will be close to that image.

I wonder why its slightly shrunk in from the top and bottom. The one on my 5 goes pretty much right up to the edge (it's a Spigen too). Oh well, maybe the phone case will cover the gaps slightly.

Can't believe you guys obsess over iPhone and want to cover it up with ugly plastic cases!! You may as well get a fugly android phone! ;-)

If the camera didn't stick out the back I'd be tempted to go case-less.
But I'd rather cover it up than have it rock on a table when I lay it down.

I love the naked robotic core of an iPhone, but I have two tiny kids, I can't risk it ;)
(but at least I get the tasteful Apple leather case and not some horrendously angular bit of rubber that's more colourful than an angry fruit salad! ;)

It's because the iPhone 6 has curved glass, previous ones didn't.
