UK iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Thread

Just joined the forum after keeping a tab on this thread for a few days now!

Unfortunately, I am one of those with the 7-10 day dispatch (iPhone 6 Space Grey 128 GB), so I'm looking at Sept 30-Oct 3 as the delivery date.

However, after coming across this link https://reserve-gb.apple.com/GB/en_GB/reserve/iPhone I'm tempted to give it a go at midnight then cancel my order on the Apple Store.

Is this link valid for this year's release, or is it something left over from the 5S release? I asked about the link on Apple Live Chat and they did not know of it at all!

Just joined the same as you, same delivery estimate as you for a 6+ 64GB Space Grey, got my confirmation email at 8:44am.

DPD literally are the best, the tracking literally says what delivery number I am and shows what number they're currently at. You can work your delivery out within 5 mins. I don't understand why UPS are so terrible with tracking..!

Yeah DPD really have it nailed.

It states in the email that the tracking will work on the morning of the delivery. I shall check and keep you guys posted!

Glass protectors are new to me, do these actually bend when you apply them?

No, you sort of lay them on top. Once you have it in the right position you give it a good tap in the middle of the screen and it adheres itself to the phone.
I've been using them for 2/3 years now and really recommend them.

Because of the glass being thicker than a standard screen protector it takes a little getting used to with the home button since there is glass around it.

But a lot of people seem to be in a bit of a panic

This isn't anything like the panic tomorrow and Thursday where some people get tracing details and others don't, or even worse when it hits 17:00 on Friday and some phones are still "Out for delivery"

Lol, the only bad thing with DPD is when you get your 1 hour delivery window and see that it's 4-5pm

DPD has always delivered mine between 10~11am lol, although those are all from Scan orders.

Launch Day queues - Trafford Centre

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the launch day queues are like at Trafford Centre? Im thinking of getting there for 5.30am...is this too early or too late? How long will I be waiting in line to get one? Im after 6 Plus 64GB Gold.

i honestly think unless your queueing up before midnight you'll struggle to get any phones.

I have a horrible feeling iPhone + stock will be sparse at best.

Id recommend trying to reserve one when the site goes live tomorrow

My mate did arrived at that sort of time at the Arndale for the 5, worked out fine. Hopefully Trafford will be similar this year.
