Maybe due to the curved display? If it went all the way to the edges maybe they found it would come away at the edges, only speculation though. It will probably do me for the time being until a better version comes out.

I worked in the UK Post Office until recently, and when I was there it wasn't possible to insure phones sent internationally with any of our services because they're such high risk items.

Just joined the forum after keeping a tab on this thread for a few days now!

Unfortunately, I am one of those with the 7-10 day dispatch (iPhone 6 Space Grey 128 GB), so I'm looking at Sept 30-Oct 3 as the delivery date.

However, after coming across this link https://reserve-gb.apple.com/GB/en_GB/reserve/iPhone I'm tempted to give it a go at midnight then cancel my order on the Apple Store.

Is this link valid for this year's release, or is it something left over from the 5S release? I asked about the link on Apple Live Chat and they did not know of it at all! :confused:
 
What screen protectors are people buying?

I used to have one on my 5 but haven't for a good 6 months. Looking for something decent.

I guess so...

But a lot of people seem to be in a bit of a panic:D

From a cost saving point of view it makes sense to me that Apple and carriers would have timed the pre-order deliveries so that there is less holding time in the depots. I would imagine it costing a lot of money to store these packages for days waiting to be shipped out... Of course this is just my humble opinion;)
 
Got my 6+ 128gb silver at 8:29am for the 19/9 delivery. The app store app on the iPhone/iPad kept failing to load, but the website went live for me at around 8:27am.

I set my Firefox browser to refresh the page every two seconds at 8:05am until it finally worked.

Never gone through checkout so fast :)

Welcome! I ordered the same as you, due for 19/9 delivery.
Hopefully you'll be able to get one sooner! Good luck with the reserve!

Thank you! Is anyone else giving this a try at midnight? I hope it's actually legit and not just a leftover page in the dusty archives of the Apple website!

DPD literally are the best, the tracking literally says what delivery number I am and shows what number they're currently at. You can work your delivery out within 5 mins. I don't understand why UPS are so terrible with tracking..!
