I'm curious as to why you'd prefer it to be shipped direct from China instead of the UK.
From China there is a larger distance, so to me that means a greater chance for something to go wrong.
Oh... I get numerous shipments from Japan and Korea every month so I guess I'm not really that interested in the process anymore haha.

I have to agree, throwing out those geeky moments tracking those planes flying for china and so on, is fun, but I doubt this will happen this year, I have a feeling those iPhones are already here

Has anyone else from the UK apart from Geekanoids reported that their iPhones have been dispatched?
Seen a couple of tweets of people saying that their phone has been dispatched, but Geekanoids is the only one I know that ordered from Apple.
He ordered at 5PM UK time and his order has been dispatched first! :O
A few on twitter tweeted the same thing at the same time as Geekanoids, so it seems legit and they're moving through orders now.
The next step for my geekery is to try and pinpoint what order times these are. They may be the late 19/9 orders, or iP6+ orders which are coming from China. Whilst most people who ordered earlier are on the pallets which are currently located in the UK.
A tuesday night release seems too early for shipping for Friday (even if the package is held for friday delivery) if they're in the UK. Considering it from the courier perspective where they maintain a streamlined inventory and distribution centre they wouldn't want dead packages sitting around for any longer than necessary.
He's a china batch then. IMO. Probably means early orderers shouldn't expect movement until late tomorrow or thursday
Had to borrow the rest of the money from my parents for a few days, because Envirofone are ****, but the money left my account a couple hours ago, I can now officially start getting excited instead of panicking about Apple cancelling my order, phhhhhheeeeeeewwwww
