I wish! My delivery is 30th sept - 3rd oct, but I'm going on holiday on the 29th and coming back the 10th so I'm praying for a miracle and get it next Friday :confused:

Almost certainly, although it has been a while since I had to collect an Apple delivery, iPad 3 (March 2012) was the last time. Once you know who is delivering to you then you can check if your local depot is open on Saturdays. UPS and UKMail normally are.
 
Hey guys,

Ordered at 8:41 and 8:47

iPhone 6 plus 64gb grey and iPhone 6 64gb grey. Plus is 7-10 days and 6 is Friday 19th. Changed the delivery address from home to uni address and delivery window changed from "30th sept - 3 oct" to "26th sept - 1st OCt"

Reading the last few posts looks like I was a minute out of getting my plus on release day. Ah well

I suppose that once the initial rush is over they will be dispatching on a rolling daily basis. My estimated delivery is 29th Sept - 2nd Oct.
 
I'm on a half day at work to play golf in the afternoon on Friday so hopefully mine will come in the morning! Hopefully get a DPD notification and time frame tonight/tomorrow. DPD are quite good with their parcel tracking when the van is out.
 
I wonder what model is most popular (6 or 6+)

I'll happily pick up whichever 6+ I can get my hands on. I have a 64gb silver on order for 10th-17th october, so if I can get that, I'll cancel the online order.

If I get a different 6+ I'll just be taking advantage of the apple return policy - I know it's not ideal, not particularly fair, but I feel like Apple proper messed up the pre-order/reserve process so I have to make the best of a bad situation.

Plus if I've queued up for hours and its the only way to get my hands on something.... :p

Seeing how fast the 6+ Dispatch time went up in very short time, I'd say the 6+ is the most popular.
 
Is anyone showing as shipped yet?

I guess if DPD are handling the endpoint delivery, they're already in the UK?

I hope my case gets here on time - it was sent on Sunday (by post :mad:) and still no sign of it.

If you ordered it from Apple it won't be DPD. It will be UK Mail or UPS.

Yeah my case got dispatched on Sunday too but estimated delivery is tomorrow so it's all good.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, UKMail are just delivering to royal mail for the last part.

Has anyone that pre-ordered with EE on contract got a despatch or any other sort of notification from them?

I ordered first thing Friday 12th, was told defintely Friday 19th for delivery and the confirmation of the order email says the same thing, but since then I;ve had nothing.

Need to work out whether to work from home on Friday or not - EE are leaving it very late to give people an update on anything at all.
 
I have just spoken to an Apple rep. (Im overly eager) they said even though they deffinately do not have a set timescale for dispatch most orders that are 'preparing for dispatch' for delivery on the 19/09 it will begin late this afternoon into the evening. They only use UPS or UkMail for deliveries.

I'd say so, too - but I think most people are getting more phone than they bargained for. I also tried to get a Plus, but after having read all the reviews today, I'm glad they were sold out so quickly, forcing me to get a 6 instead. The Plus is enormous - the 4.7" seems to be the ideal size. Slightly better camera (only helps you for video, apparently) and slightly longer battery life, but far less pocketable and tedious to hold.
